Trattoria al Forno reviews
17Ordered a “large” pizza and 2 shrimp scampis and had pick up at 8: 30-8: 55. Checked in at 8: 38 and waited for 30 minutes until I had to ask for the manager. Valeria, manager, tried to tell me that I didn’t check in until 8: 55. This pizza is a wood oven, 6 piece “large”. They supposedly comped my meal but I lost an hour of hanging out and cold shrimp to boot.
Reservations shmezervations. Even a late reservation, we waited 40 minutes for a table. It does not matter how busy a restaurant may be, your restaurant is always the same size. Meet or exceed expectations by only committing to the number of people you can serve well.
The Calamari was ok, but no better than an average sports bar.
Gnocchi and Lasagna were better than stouffer's, if that says anything.
Other than the wait, it wasn't aweful, but that's about it. The waitress was nice, but she is neither at fault, nor could make up, for it just being an "enh" experience.
By the time we got our food, my wife would have eaten McDonald's and thought it was good, we were so hungry.and even then, "enh".
When you call customer service they say they have the breakfast pastries back with the Sun cookie. When you show up they have no idea what you are talking about and do not offer it anymore. If I would have known this I would not have waisted my money and time at this place for my birthday. I drove over an hour to come here and the sun cookie and pastries where my favorite. But they have no problem sending you next door for pastries to purchase witch are not the same. Absolutely disappointed and will not be back. I have not been seated and really do not want to eat here now. But if I cancel my reservation they will still charge me
Had “two eggs your way” twice and pizza and salad once. Everything was excellent every time, but a highlight was our server Brandi. If you are seated in her station you will experience excellence. She was fantastic.
Incredible fast service and great food to boot. It features an open kitchen so you can watch the action as it happens. Great wine, beer, and drinks list. The lasagna was delicious and there wasn't anything left on the plate. You start with ciabatta bread served with an olive oil, balsamic, olive tapenade to sate your hunger. Definitely a must do if you're in the boardwalk area
Hands down the most quality meal on Disney property (outside of the Grand Floridian restaurants)! This place is absolutely lovely and the food quality is impeccable (which was so refreshing as Disney food can be very unpredictable and bland at times). The manager comes to every table and is the most incredibly kind person who truly cares about his job and diners. We had the swordfish and the steak and cannot recommend them enough! The flavors here have a ton of depth and all taste very homemade. Such a great experience if you’re looking for some quality dining at Disney!
The service was very good, but there was something about the food that lacked authenticity. It does have a decent selection of gluten-free entrees, though. And, it's in a great location.
Sherri was the best waitress ever! The food and everything was great, but she made the experience phenomenal!
This might possibly be the best restaurant in all of Disney. Great kitchen staff, beautiful dining room, fantastic food, and a great waitress (Andrea) who was both spunky AND sweet! Could eat here LITERALLY every night!
We had a wonderful family dinner! Everything we ordered was great. Our family, with a larger group this trip, will be returning to WDW in a few months. We plan to make reservations for our whole family dinner together again at Trattoria.
We had a reservation here and they were 40 minutes behind seating people so we had uber eats instead.
The Tiramisu French Toast is simply to die for! The strawberry pancakes are delicious, but simply can't hold a candle to the French Toast.if you love traditional Tiramisu, then you have to try this French Toast!
We had a reservation, arrived early, but were seated 40 minutes late. The food was just ok considering the price. The server was friendly but the service was painfully slow. Took nearly two hours to get done. For all the hype this experience was a disappointment.
Lovely breakfast! Our server was the happiest lady we interacted with on our entire Disney vacation. The food was good and we look forward to visiting again!
This is a must do Disney dining experience! We ate dinner here on December 5th and it was one of our favorite meals that week! I had the lasagna and it was absolutely delicious, so unlike any lasagna I’ve had before. My husband had the chicken park and loved it. Our son had one of the wood fired pizzas which was amazing. The price was very reasonable for the quality of food. We will definitely return here when we come back!
We enjoyed our anniversary here and between the exciting Boardwalk atmosphere, incredible indoor dining ambience, and best tasting Italian food, the experience was Disney Magic at its best. Our server Lynne was amazing. She was so generous and fun. For appetizers, the calamari were super tender and the Arincini are a must get item. They were so good and will change your life. Not to mention both the appetizers are gluten free!
The homemade pasta was incredible, the breads were magical, and the desserts were the perfect end. This is one of our new favorites at Disney and we will be adding it to our rotation. I wish we would have gone here in years past. We were missing out on such a hidden gem.
Fantastic vegan dinner. There isn't much to choose from (bruschetta for an appetizer, rigatoni bolognese for an entree, and affogato for a dessert), but everything was excellent.
