Treasure Bay Resort & Marina, Treasure Island FL

Used to stay here when my kids were young. Was going to book for tonight but decided on Satellite motel instead. Very glad we did. Treasure bay has an open air bar and the music playing was filth. One song at 9pm used the 'F', 'N' and the 'B' words. Another song at 9.15pm had the words "she sit on my d**k and I fill her up. Called reception to complain but the music continued into the night, obviously the staff at this hotel could not care less and are happy to cause offensive to guests. I mean seriously what sort of hotel is so inconsiderate to its guests that it allows this type of music to be played? ! Be very careful about booking this hotel!

BED BUGS! Stayed here with a friend a week ago, & around 2am she woke up to a huge BED BUG crawling on the pillow next to her. We were up all night with the situation & the staff was NOT very friendly or accommodating. We were able to get switched to a different room at least thankfully but that’s about all the hotel managed to or would do. This ISN’T the first time this hotel has bed bugs in the last year either, I later learned. So DO NOT stay here; at least NOT until they fully treat the hotel for BED BUGS!

I went to our normal upstairs bar at this place and have gone there for years and this is great sun set place. Then went tonite and WOW very getto and I'm from Detroit! Bad! Will never go again! Had to look up how to make a rum runner and it wasn't even close. This is a marina resort we're talking about. Some how this roof top hot spot has been sold out to who ever will tend bar. Please correct this so we consider coming back!

There are BED BUGS at this hotel. Completely unacceptable. Do not stay here until this property has had proper treatment and an exterminator has assessed and taken care of the situation. I have documentation. This is a nightmare and I am posting to try to help to prevent others from going through what we are currently enduring because if you know anything about bedbugs it’s no simple task to get rid of them. It costs thousands of dollars for treatment and typically heat is the only element that will do the job. If you’ve stayed here please check your homes because you may have brought them to where you reside. Again I am sharing this because it’s wrong on so many levels to stay at a hotel and wake up and 2 in the morning to see a bed bug on your pillow. Granted I know that this is no five star hotel but we are locals and for this to happen is just again unacceptable. Our time is gone, we have been up all night. This needs to be addressed. I have been very professional about this whole situation but I think action needs to be taken on this matter. I’m reporting this to the correct authorities to ENSURE this matter will be taken care of. Regardless of how long it takes

Had called day of check in to let them know that my flight was delayed and that I would not be able to check in until 3 a.m.
I was assured twice that my room would be available and not to worry. Well, when I arrived the girl at the front desk was telling me that the rooms are sold out. I informed her that the room is already paid for and that I'm definitely not leaving without a room. She did accommodate in a room that she had to clean herself before I could get into it. Upon entering the room the closet door sliding doors both were off track, the room phone did not work, the door to get into the room is not level so the extra lock fir extra security while you sleep does not lock. It also seems very loose like you can almost push on the door hard with your shoulder and the door would pop open.
On the plus side The girl did mention that they keep the pool and hot tub open all night. The location is good as well. Could definitely set a better procedure into place when I overbooked as they literally were going to turn me away has she not brainstormed and cleaned up a room on the spot. I'm staying here for a couple of more nights but definitely won't ever book here again. Oh and by the way, there's no hot breakfast as advertised on some Thurs party booking sites. They ended that months and months ago.

We were in for a vacation / work and stayed here five days. I thought it was nice, we enjoyed it. Breakfast was good. Some of the guest were rude but you can't blame the hotel for that.

Walking distance of the beach and many places to eat.

Nice place, very easy access to beach, and the outdoor bar was a nice area to enjoy the evenings! Will definitely be back.

This was nice and clean and staff very friendly. However, they charge for parking, even the handicapped space, have no breakfast or serve food of any kind.

Having a great time behide us is the marina and in front of us is the beach great location clean rooms i will be back again

Room was very nice. Was not expecting the $15 a day fee to park in the parking lot. No where on Priceline did it state this. So was very surprised with this charge. The lady running the front desk at check in was very rude. She needs some better people skills.

If you're looking for a great place to stay in the area, look no further. This place is amazing. Miss Jewels is the best of the best. She will make you feel right at home. The entire front desk staff is great. Will definitely be back

Checking in was tense but after a few words the receptionist became a little more relaxed and friendly. A smile would go a long way and be helpful for arriving guests to feel welcomed.

I did book through a third party, which did state free breakfast, but there was none. The hotel is undergoing construction and improvements, including the breakfast area. It’s an older building with a good location and the air conditioning worked really great. The rooms still need some TLC, but the beds were comfortable.

We had a great time at Treasure Bay! Jules was fantastic and was able to hook us up with an upgraded room! Rooms and pool were very clean. Location is perfect! Can’t wait to go back hopefully soon!

This is my 7th time staying here in the past 10 years! They are under new ownership, so more free breakfast! I was upset but there is a Waffle House next door! The rooms are going through a renovation, so bare with them! I never have anything bad to say about this hotel at all. The location is spot on! Jules helped us up front & couldn't be nicer! Thank you for a yet another great getaway!

We were apprehensive based on the outside appearance, but pleasantly surprised by our room with gulf view. The chairs and mattresses are nearly worn out, but we slept ok. It was a clean room with LOTS of storage space. The concierge lady explained they've just started upgrades under new ownership. New carpeting should be installed in July 23. Hope they get new mattresses and decent chairs. We would def rent this room again for the price. Note: $16/night parking fee for guests.

During our weeks stay it was clean but they were under construction which we weren’t told about in advance however the service was great, the people were nice and the location is directly across from the beach you can walk for food, drinks and more. Dolphin tours were just a 10 minute drive away and ice cream was next door! Overall it’s not a 5 star resort but none the less a great stay to say the least. Oh and the pool was quite warm in fact warmer than the hot tub so excellent for an evening swim.

This hotel isn't a 5 star hotel but great location, pretty nice pool and hot tub, with good customer service. Some of the rooms that aren't remodeled may be musty or old but mine wasn't, new floors and pretty clean. There was a little smell in the bathroom from the plumbing in room 123 but overall great value!

Treasure Island Beach is right across the busy street and parking is &15 per day. $150 per night- better than same price at Motels. Carpet smells bad in the hallway but ok in room. Few perks like coffee maker and ice machine. Pool closes at 10.

We were painting the hallway when we went to the room. Carpet very full of stains. Everything very outdated. No breakfast. But if you have a room with a bay view. That makes up for a lot. All rooms have a balcony. That is an advantage. Location is perfect. You can buy a bus ticket for 5 dollars. You can drive all day along the beach to St Petersburg, which is a really nice place.
