Trust him at your own risk. He will keep your deposit and not show up. He went completely dark for a week because his phone was disconnected.

He makes up a ton of excuses like a fire, no phone signal and I picked up the wrong items We should've trusted the previous reviews. We are filing a police report on him and banning him from our community.

Excellent! Oh did I mention excellent? Needed a large tree on property trimmed and thinned out for the hurricane season. I had another company come by and quoted me a price and asked if he has insurance just in case he damages my house or the fence that the tree is next too. His answer felt a bit unsure and got the feeling that this guy is not as well experienced. So I called Tree Tops and John on the phone gave good detail of his service and kept well communication by text prior to meeting for consult. Consult went great. Way he described and explained things. Definitely sounded like he knew what he was doing. Used some tree lingo that this city boy was clueless. Lol. I asked the same important question. Insurance. He said answered with confidence in having it. Agreed to service. Next day. I got text from John giving info about his insurance. Eased the mind greatly! Just knowing that any damages (god forbid) would be covered with no hassles. John and partner was quick and did a great job. Cleaned up completely when done! Big bonus! Most definitely would recommend for any future needs or if anyone needs tree service.

I just had a tree removed this week and the stump grinded. The company was very professional and he gave me a very fair price. He was also on time for the estimate and the day of removal. I would for sure use this company again.

John was incredible! We had an unforeseeable and completely unavoidable incident when he removed our dead 22 year old palm tree from our front yard. The tree had been planted directly on top of or main water pipe from the house to the street. We had no idea. The tree came down and the water line came up flooding the yard. John quickly pinpointed the issue and then spent the whole day repairing it. He assured me he would handle it even though it wasn't really his fault, and he did. So many untrustworthy companies in this area would have left me high and, well, wet. But he went and bought new pipe and did the repair. He also left my yard looking as though nothing had happened and my husband said he went as far as to clean off my neighbors car because it got dust on it from the job.
It wasn't the easy tree removal either of us were anticipating yesterday, but it turned out for the best. I'm so grateful!

Be careful with this company! After I did a deposit to trim my tree in Davenport this month (10-2022) the guy who said is the owner didn’t show up at the agreed time, didn’t answer my calls all day or texts and I was sure I got scammed and called the bank. I then late at the night of got a text saying he had a “tree emergency” in Sarasota. I told him I should’ve been made aware and that I wasn’t interested anymore and asked for my deposit back. The guy refused to give me my deposit back! I asked a few times and he ignored me. I’m glad I used a credit card but I had to dispute the charge with my bank because this guy refused! Very unprofessional and untrustworthy!
