The worst service, customer service, scheduling, telephone personal and everything about this company is horrible! They do not do what they say they are going to do. Also, if you don't follow up and call or email them over and over and over again, you will never hear from them. Terrible at everything they do. STAY AWAY from this COMPANY!

Tri County Furniture Service was contracted by Ashley Furniture for fixing a recall issue with my recliner. The technician did their job quite well, cleaned up after themselves and completed the task within a reasonable time.

That being said, I would hope that Tri County Furniture Service revamps their scheduling process in the future. My original appointment had to be rescheduled since the technician didn't arrive until 3 hours after the appointment window ended. While a customer service representative promptly reached out to me on the next business day; apologized for the mix-up & rescheduled the appointment. Yet when the time for the rescheduled appointment rolled around, the technician didn't arrive at my door until 2 hours after the appointment window ended. To me this appears to be a case where the technicians are being scheduled without adequate buffer windows in case an appointment takes longer than anticipated.

Do not use this company. They lie. We were charged $59.00 for a service call to repair a table. My husband and I were home sitting in our living room waiting for the repairman. He never came to the door to knock or ring the bell and states that we weren't home. If he had come to the door he would of heard us talking and also the television. We spoke to a female "supervisor" who backed up the repairman 100% and she told more lies. Tri County refuses to reimburse our money.

UPDATE ON PREVIOUS COMPLAINT:

More lies! We DID NOT MISS OUR APPOINTMENT as we were anxious to have the table fixed for Christmas dinner. The Tri County service tech never came to the door. He took a picture of our door, but he never knocked. THERE IS NO WAY WE WOULD NOT HAVE HEARD HIM HAD HE KNOCKED ON THE DOOR, FULL STOP. He did not do his due diligence. Yes, I got ONE phone call, but we get so many spam calls, I didn't answer it. He was at our house for 23 minutes? Where? I never should have trusted a company that takes your payment information before the appointment. Clearly, Tri County has no incentive to follow through with their appointments.they are already insured that they will be paid. And the fact that the owner called me after I wrote my review and lambasted me about all of his high tech innovations and how, basically, it is my fault that the appointment was missed.great, victimize the victim. I lost sleep that night thinking about that phone call. The more I thought about the intent and content of it, the more I became upset and I ended up missing work the next day. As an ER nurse, it is detrimental to many for me to miss a shift, and yes, I know all about due diligence.

My husband is a Handy Man, as well as possessing many other talents and skill sets. When he goes out to do a job, he doesn't leave, or ask for payment, until he knows the homeowner is completely satisfied. Tri County asks for money before the appointment and then, doesn't do the job, and if you don't like it, well that's your fault. Tri County = no integrity. Finally, I asked my husband if he could try and fix the table, and he did so. I thought Tri County would do something special on this repair.yeh, they certainly did.ripped me off!

The technician was only here for about 5 minutes. He was great. We need a part for the recliner, which has to ordered. He explained everything and now we wait for the part to be shipped. He was very nice. Much nicer then the people that work the phones.

Technician was great! BUT it took over three months for them to approve repairs! We sent pictures and ALL documentation that was asked of us. Technician even came out to repair furniture, sent the EXACT same pictures we sent in and his supervisors would NOT let him repair it until they reviewed it further! It took another month before he could get back out to us!

I have had the worst experience with this company, if they are the ones behind the extended warranty do not buy it. I bought this recliner from Steinhaffels and had it go down in August 2023. The tech came out and said they had to order the parts. Parts were finally delivered in January 2024 so I had the tech back to install them only to find out they ordered the wrong parts. So now what another 5 months to wait for the correct parts to be shipped hopefully? I have been without a functioning chair for 6 months now and I will have to wait another 3 to 4 to hopefully get it resolved. I contacted both Steinhaffels and Tri County and both were just like deal with it. For a chair to fail within months of purchasing I would have thought they would stand behind the products they sell replace it. Needless to say I will never shop at Steinhaffels and will verify who the extended warranty is through because I will never give Tri County another cent because of the $hitty service (or lack there of) they provide.

I thought this was going to be a complete cleaning of the whole couch turned out to be only on the spots. This tech did a good job but I was concerned that the rest of the material would not match. I don’t know if I did not read the contract correctly. I will check

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review. We have been trying to get Tri-County out to repair a set of leather reclining sofas we have and have been given the run around for a few months, it's unbelievable how both times the technicians supposedly tried to get ahold of me which is infact a lie, I received no email, text, missed call, or voice-mail. There is no type of ownership, integrity, or customer service with Tri-County furniture. Clearly still riding the covid train on excuses of being lazy. Now we have to wait again as our warranty is about to expire. My simple thought frame is if you don't want to do the job for what ever reason allow our warranties to cover the furniture, not put the Customer in the whirlwind or excuses and wait times until our warranties expire and we are out all the money we put into a piece of furniture. Honor the warranty or come properly fix the furniture, it's what we paid for. Geez, the hell is country coming to for allowing businesses like Tri-County Furniture to serve us. In my opinionated pov use any other company other than Tri-County Furniture because this process with them has been overwhelmingly unbelievable. I hope you can address your employees on their lack of work ethic and integrity, both the customer service and technicians, as its making the company as a whole look bad. FIX OR HONOR, FIX OR HONOR, FIX OR HONOR, FIX OR HONOR, FIX OR HONOR THE WARRANTY!

Service was good, and problem resolved quickly once technician got here. My main gripe is that it took over 3 weeks from the time I reported the issue to the day the tech made it out. Lead time needs improvement.

Round 1 of my repair went great. The technician was very knowledgeable. He was professional, friendly and respectful. The issue was fixed, but a part had to be ordered. Round 2 will occur when the part arrives.

James, from Tri County Furniture, was out tech - and we couldn't be more pleased. He was both a terrific craftsman and a gentleman too.

Response to reply:
Hi all IT IS IMPORTANT to check the photograph.
@owner please also see this and read this as a reponse to your reply. I didnt attach it initially, because I thought I will just give review. Now I have to give proofs. The photo shows Before and After of the switch, please tell me which plyer does this to the switch socket. And after doing this the technician realizes that new switch is incorrect, and then puts this as is. PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOGRAPH - before and AFTER, so you should agree your technician spoiled existing sofa. I can show and proove more but this is to reply to your metal cutter and plyer. Why will I care if he used a plyer or a metal cutter or a soft rubber, he cut the metal in 4 places u see it in screen.

By your response below you is trying to make me look bad, I never said being old is a problem. I just said he is old so he was not able to lift up the sofa and you can ask him, he was having leg cramps and stuff. So being old and all is not a problem, being unwell and trying to forcefully do something is. Now let me tell you about call with Brent, he asked me stuff and I told him exactly the truth, but if still the message reached to you is what you have written, then you are not wanting to see the truth. The photograph should tell you to start with.

Now asking about other units is a complete lie, i asked him to tighten the screws of the sofa, he opened the sofa seats and just clipped them back and didnt tighten the screws. So I will take a tire of your car, fix the car tire and then dont tighten the screws of the tire, put them by hand, will u feel safe in driving this car. Exact situation. I politely requested him to just fix the wobbling of the sofa unit he extracted and put back. He was not polite, at all, he kept saying I have 11 other jobs (And I am telling u number so it should tell u that I am saying truth), tightening it will take 1.5 hrs not in work order etc.

Initial Review:
They sent an old guy at my house and i have a heavy sofa and a contemporary one. Now this technician, is not able to lift up the sofa and like fights with it like a car mechanic, he then uses a metal cutter on the sofa switch to open it, and on stopping him "he says oh anyways you have replacement switch so we will be fine, I am doing it since 20 years etc etc". He cuts the existing things and ruins it and then he checks down and says the switch that they sent me is incorrect so he is like puts this switch holder with sharp cuts back, and gives a dirty smile. Now he has to replace a motor which i have for head incliner, we have done this before so I know it doesnt need sofa to come apart, as its not base motor, its just head incliner, this guy starts again fighting with sofa and loosens its ends, later realizes oh my bad, its not base its head rest, he then opens the head rest and then does the motor replacement, I am unsure on what and how he did that, as he wouldnt listen. Every few mins after trying he would call me to help him with holding some stuff, and then he puts the motor somehow, and then puts head rest back but the hand rest and head rest he took out has a visible gap which was not there, I showed him other side also, you can imagine what he is like. He started telling no it was like that, and I wont fix it. I tell him sofa ends are vobbling because of his fight with sofa but this guy says, "hey this is not in my work order so I cant do that as it will take time". Extremely rude, unprofessional, unknowledgeable people. And he goes away. I call Tri County office, they also didnt bother to call back, I mailed them no reply. So now I had to call my warranty office.
If god forbid you are stuck with this service company, please ask them to send you technician who knows how to work in complex sofas, and also technician who doesnt want to rush because he has 11 other jobs, and one who is strong enough to independently fix the sofa. I dont know if every technician they have is similar or not, but worst service experience so far in my lifetime. And Issue is they dont care to fix this.
