TRIMWORKS PAINTWORKS, Belleview FL

John has kept us on the hook since January of this year. We have been patience with him because of covid and because he did beautiful work the first time. He required no downpayment the first time. So we felt safe knowing him and his wife Tara professionally, to give him a third down on our fireplace build. His wife Tara finally emailed us after having to track him down with someone else's phone number (they had obviously blocked ours) and she advised us he couldn't do the work on the morning he was supposed to show up. NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL>
He has over a $1000 plus dollars as downpayment and has obviously stiffed us. What a shame. Seemed like such a nice family but
I guess you get taken all the time.
So my advice to you is NO down payment and don;t plan on the work ever being done. So disappointed to have to give him this review. Will repost if we are ever able to get our deposit back. Doubtful. So I guess its small claims court.

Our first experience with John a year ago was fantastic when he did our crown moulding and several cornices. We recently hired him to come back and do remaining window cornices, mirror trim and pass-through window trim. Tara came out and measured. This past Saturday, they were a "no show" and have refused to answer at least 10 calls, emails, etc. I do not know what has happened but this company is NOT DEPENDABLE at all any more. Too bad. We have "warranty work" (seams coming apart) and now I will have to pay someone else to do what he promised was "under warranty. " I am not happy! Should they "make good" on this, I will amend this review but I am not holding my breath. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and we will take whatever legal action required to be reimbursed for the "warranty work. " How can people treat others like this? Shameful!

Does not return phone calls, email, texts. Owner Tara came to my home twice to evaluate job and give an estimate. After second visit, haven't heard from them again. I noticed same type of review on the villages talk site. Also, one of the positive reviews for this company is from the owner.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Very professional company to work with. They were very clean and picked up thier mess as they worked. I will be having then back to do more work soon. The corners on the crown molding in the home is perfect, nothing like I've ever seen before.

Johns and Tara recently installed Crown Molding and Cornices in our home, they were very professional and easy to work with. We will be having them back in a few months to paint the inside of the home and add some wainscotting. John is extremely talented at what he does and I am so happy with his finished product. Tara was so helpful with helping to choose the right Molding for our home, she answered all of our questions and gave an excellent presentation. She also helped us choose a color for when we paint. I would highly recommend them.

John and Tara were a pleasure to work with start to finish. I love my custom cornice John designed. Its perfect!

Trimworks did an outstanding job with crown molding throughout our entire house and in two tray ceilings in our bedrooms. They built beautiful cornices for 3 large windows and one sliding glass door. They cased a number of windows in our house. Couldn't be happier with their work, their price and their professionalism! Never had one problem contacting them.

I do not normally write reviews, but seeing that there are multiple reviews on the issue of Tara not returning phone calls. Here is my issue.

I contacted Trimworks to have work done. Tara came to the house and sent me an estimate through email. I contacted her on scheduling the job. She said there is a Monday/Tuesday available. I mentioned that Thursday/ Friday would work better for me during this this Pandemic. I never heard from her again. Now with this said, this review is not based on the workmanship of Trimworks (not that they gave me a chance to hire them), but if all of the associates treat the customers as well as Tara I don't need to hire them and hope they will show up.
I have tried each way to contact Trimworks (phone calls/messages, IM's, email and FB messages). I even wrote on their FB page and still no contact, but the message was deleted from their page. Very disappointed in her communication skills, or lack of helping their customers.

This company may do good work but I will never know because they failed to show up and will not return my calls or email. I was. This is not a good way to run a business. I waited 6 weeks and will now have to find another company.

Excellent job on painting our home. They made my home beautiful! We loved working with Trimworks Paintworks and their crew! Give them a call if you need painting, you won't be disappointed.
