I spent $200k on a pool with Tropical Escapes and the 600 days the project took to complete was a nightmare. As the project sat seemingly abandoned, the office and foremen would never answer the phone for us.never. I would start my days for nearly 2 years trying to reach someone, anyone. As things went wrong there was no way to correct issues as they happened, as pipes were installed incorrectly, filters bypassed, pipes clogged with concrete.nobody would answer. The warranty experience has been the same.silence and no response. I feel like they may simply be out of business a la style of Olympus. Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Oh well.

TE Pools did an excellent job with my pool. Stayed on their timelines provided at contract and provided excellent customer service. All the staff I had the pleasure of working with were respectful, courteous, and responsive to all of my requests.

We love our pool. Kyle and Brian were super easy to work with and always got are issues resolved. The pool was completed before the time they originally stated. We would recommend this builder over others out there.

Look at their BBB rating! Buyer Beware. We had a very unpleasant experience that became stressful and we had to seek legal remedy. Our sales man was pleasant but could not help us much.

We were lied to for months. They did not attempt to work with us at all. Inorder to resolve, we in the end sued them & won. But they never defended themselves. They knew they were wrong. They didnt hire an attorney, they didnt bother to show up to court.
They just kept our money and forced us to spend thousands to get our deposit back. Yes, it was worth it to fight but what if I didnt have the capital to do this? Crooks

The judge ordered them to pay back our deposit. To which they still did not and we ultimately had to pay more money to have the funds garnished from their business account.

Going thru the court system took us over a year to have funds returned. Thank God that we have an attorney due to the nature of our self employment. I would not recommend this company.

If I ever have to build another pool. I will definitely go with a different company. Whenever my neighbors go on facebook asking people which pool company theyve used and if they would recommend. I am fast to tell them to use someone else. Not good

Tropical Escapes is building the pool and spa and doing the backyard paving and screen work for our new house. Their work is nearing completion and I have been so impressed with my experience with the company that I felt “compelled” to write an interim review for them.
I must admit that I was a bit concerned about getting the house and pool work done simultaneously but Cody and his team were so good in coordinating everything with the builder that I never needed to do anything. We have been kept informed about the progress in a very systematic manner. The work that has been done so far is outstanding—to a perfection. They practically transformed my backyard into a tropical oasis. I cannot wait for the work to be completed! I will post pictures soon as the work is completed. Meanwhile, thank you Cody and the team. You have a very happy customer in me and keep up the good work.

We started with Tropical Escapes after an extensive search of Pool builders in the Area. The experience of the builder guided us through the best options for the design and overall layout. The main office and the Tropical Escapes representatives and employees carry themselves with respect and experience to the appeasement of all of us who do not know anything about pools. We’ve begun the last steps of the Pool buildout, and look forward to a 5 star review once the punch list is complete. Included in this review are some photos of how it’s progressing.

I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent job that Tropical Escapes Pool Builders did a no new inground pool. It’s a fairly large pool at 16’ x 36’. They help me finalize the design plans showed an excellent rendering with a video and helped us pick up materials for the pool from excavation day to the final inspection on the pool it took less than 90 days! I understand that that is not typical, but everything lined up such that it could be done, and they made it happen. This was very important to us as our father was coming in for probably the last time to Florida, and we wanted to show him the pool before he left. Also, we were very fortunate with weather, and that there was very little rain during the last several months.
I want to thank the owners, Rosa, Brian, will, Kyle, and the entire staff and all the crews that came out to make this happen. With a special shout out again to Rosa, Brian and Will - very special people. We were referred to this builder by friends that we consider family as they had done a great job on their pool and as I stated we couldn’t be more pleased. I’m going to attach some photos for you to see the excellent quality and care that they took with our pool.

Quality of pool construction is excellent. Timing took a while but that was something we found was everywhere during immediate post-COVID. In all, couldn’t be happier with our end result. Company even came out to knock out ALL punch list items after and made it right.

We had a great experience with Tropical Escapes. They were very good with communicating what was going to be done, when etc. They took pictures after each event and posted them on the app. When we did have a minor hiccup, the owner himself came out to provide a solution. Even months later when we needed something fixed, the owner assisted. We did extensive research prior to choosing a pool builder and Tropical Escapes was the only one with 5 star reviews.

Cody and his team were prompt from beginning to end. Reliable contractors that give realistic expectations and timelines are few and far between these days. His team cleaned up everyday and left minimal signs of construction during the process. At the end they walked my family through all the features of our pool with a hands on tutorial. I have recommended them to many and will continue to do so! Thank you for your honesty and quality!

Super happy with Tropical Escapes!
A friend of ours recommended them after they built their pool. We had heard about some delays with the supply chain and were worried about the inflation affecting every industry in America; ultimately, we decided we were going to build now, even with the higher prices.

We are very glad we did!

While any project of this size and so much to coordinate is going to have some hiccups along the way, we were patient and understanding and TE really kept us up to speed on everything that was happening.

Rosa basically ALWAYS answers the phone and that is very reassuring. She met or beat just about every time frame she ever gave out. She under promised and over delivered with every step which I really appreciated.

We brought in one contractor for a custom job who was not affiliated with TE but had decades of experience with pool building and he commented every day at how impressed he was with the quality of their work. “I see a lot of pools being built and a lot of corners cut and I can tell you I am REALLY impressed with these guys work! ”

The extra steps they took to provide QUALITY work when they could have cut corners to save money was evident and appreciated. Some examples are the additional framework around the spa, using Shotcrete instead of gunite, using a second pump for the waterfall, etc.

I had never built a pool so I had no idea what these things even were before this experience.

When all was said and done we went from breaking ground in June to swimming in our pool in October!

We became worried when we saw neighbors posting in FB about delays but honestly, supply chain issues affected everyone and they were really great with us!

Brian & Kyle the project managers made sure that every single last loose end was completed.

They all really felt like friends by the end of the process. We could not be happier with the quality of our new pool and spa and the kids LOVE it!

Overall design turned out nice, but the process and dealing with the company was a very unpleasant experience.

Tropical Escape Pool Builders is the best pool company! They are reliable, have great communication, and produce quality work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for pool services.

I’ve never used a pool builder before, but their quality service was superb and best I’ve seen yet.
