Tropical Sky Ranch Motel, Clearwater Beach FL

Have been a loyal customer for years! Everything in Clearwater within walking distance.rooms very clean WALTER and Ava are out standing owners.

This is one of the older cute little motels on Coronado drive just across the street from the beach. The owners are a little Polish couple who does not give confirmation numbers she just keeps your name. You get a little deal if you use cash. I booked here for The Clearwater rock and roll half marathon This year, 2023. She took my name and that is all. I called a couple of times over the months to make sure she still had my name and she did. I arrived and they were an adorable little couple and quickly got me to my room. My room is number one and it has a full size bed a fridge a microwave, TV and a bathroom and that is all. Literally all I need. I did my run and relax for a day and now I walked across the street with a coffee and I'm sitting on the beach looking at the ocean waves coming in. You kind of can't beat it. As far as the room this is not a high-end place obviously but the bathrooms are clean the towels / linens are clean and I have everything I need. I haven't used the pool it's a tiny kidney bean pool but it is also clean and clear. Anyone else I have talked to you from the other rooms have been so kind and I just really don't have any complaints. So if you come knowing what to expect And that expecting a ton more, you will have a great time literally right across the street from the beach. I can't comment on the other rooms or the sizes but I'm assuming they're just a little bit bigger and equally filled. I do not have a car with me but there is parking all around the building. The door locks are not amazing but I really don't see anyone kicking in my door anytime soon So I'm not too worried. This is just a cute little literal mom and pop motel. I would definitely come back here and I just might do that sooner than later.

Place was wonderful. People were nice.we arrive late and they were accommodating Pool was nice.everything was clean. We stayed there for three nights on. September 16 2023 for my 60th birthday. Right on the main drag.you can walk everywhere. The picture is us at the pool.the blue is the water there is a light in it that changes colors.we had a wonderful experience. Thank you.

We have stayed there 3 times and will never stay anywhere else.friendly family owned they rely on trust.rooms were perfect and pool great… steps from Clearwater beach.owners treated us as friends and I plan to visit again as soon as we can get over there! Love love this place!

Love this place, the location can't be beat. The owners are very inviting and super nice. The Beach is a block away, close to everything. Be back next year for sure.

I have been to Clearwater 3 times in the last 2 years and have stayed here each time! We absolutely love this motel! We love the owners as well! Great location also! We will be back this September and will definitely be staying here again! I recommend this morel100%!

I had a terrible experience with this motel! I booked online with Booking. Com the hotel made a mistake on pricing. On the way there I received a call that they made a mistake and wanted to charge double the rate. I said this is not right you should honor your online price, this is not customer mistake! I called Booking back they contact motel spoke with Jacob and I received confirmation email they would honor price. When I get there the owner was extremely RUDE to me and told me I would have to pay for their loss! She acted like a crazy, woman. She then tried to charge me a tremendous Fee for parking a day on top of agreed Online Reservation Fee. They were rude! I would never stay there even if it was FREE! Dirty, Rude, and dishonest. In my life there will be Abundant Blessings. Remember Karma is REAL. 0 Star ️ Rating

I recently stayed here and I had a great experience. You the room was very clean and the staff was very nice. I’ll definitely be staying here the next time in Clearwater beach!

I phoned the establishment after several attempts at requesting a quote for our anniversary weeend. Motel would not honor the rate advertised. Rates on website should be updated to current pricing.

We love this hotel. It gives you a homie feel. The owners are wonderful and for the location the price is great. We try to stay there about once a month. Highly highly recommend it to anyone!

Very friendly managers! Great value. Excellent location. The room and furnishings were basic and not modern but clean and well-maintained. The TV was a flat screen appropriate size and had full Spectrum cable service. Very comfortable bed. If you want a fancy four or five-star hotel you will be disappointed. If you would like a comfortable room with a small complete kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven and a good value it is a great choice. I would go back.

Outdated, faulty refrigerator that electrocuted my children when they opened it and power outlets not working. We had 3 children plus 2 adults and were told we would have to move rooms. They moved us to a single bed room, WITH 5 PEOPLE and moved in an old couple with no children into the 1 bedroom apartment. A refrigerator from the 80s had a 3” piece missing on the handle and I was told that they would have to get a brand new refrigerator. Was told that the piece was there and I had lost it which was false. I got my money back for the last day minus $20 because she said that was for the plastic piece. Of which I have no idea what she is talking about! Very rude drunk old polish man (owners husband) accused my 12 and 14 yr olds of smoking pot in the apartment. These people don not deserve our hard earned money and won’t be patronizing this motel again!

Very rude and obnoxious owners! Very outdated! One of THE WORST Motels on Clearwater Beach! Steer clear of this place! Saw a rat as big as a cat and very unprofessional! Look at the other reviews before deciding to spend your money here!
