Teopiflora is always great! I went to their next door neighbor, Paradise Found Nursery, and found many rare plants there too! This Sat Paradise Found is hosting a huge plant sale event! Come on out and see!

Excellent family owned nursery. We are planning to redo some outdoor pots that receive a lot of sun and wanted to buy from a local nursery so we dropped in here for a look. They have an amazing array of plants and steered is in the direction for the ones that would do well in the area we need. We're still in the planning stages but will absolutely return to buy from them.

I am visiting from Wisconsin and emailed ahead of time to make sure they would have a few of the varieties I was looking for. They were very communicative and took the initiative to set aside a few plants for me. Everyone was incredibly friendly and willing to show me other varieties I might like. I wish we could have spent much more time there, there was so much to browse.

Visited for the first time and the variety and
selection was phenomenal. Highly recommend
for anyone interested in tillandsias or
bromeliads. The staff is very helpful and
knowledgeable about the plants. There are
plants for beginners and experienced growers.
Definitely left with expectations to return.

I have recently begun purchasing plants from Tropiflora and my experience has been positive. I am not local so all of my purchases have been done online. First I must give a huge thumbs up to the selection being offered. My orders were shipped promptly and everything arrived safe and happy. I have to congratulate Tropiflora and their packing methods. You can feel safe that your order will arrive unharmed and in one piece. I plan on continuing doing business with them. Will recommend to all my plant friends.

Exceptional selection of rare plants, very low prices and they ship out of state. Definitely a highlight of our trip to the Sarasota area.

Just absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for your kindness in answering my questions about delivery and the process. I was blown away today with the perfection of the plants and the care you took in the shipping
You have my business for life. I heard great things but now I know first hand

The man in the office was so incredibly rude. I was not sure which plants were for sale and which were not. I walked into the office to ask the price of two plants that I wanted to purchase. Rather than explain to me, he was beyond rude as if I was really inconveniencing him for asking, and proceeded to PHYSICALLY shove past me to go put the plants back. So disrespectful. Never have I EVER. And never would I again. Awful

If you live in the Sarasota area and like plants you owe it to yourself to visit this amazing nursery. When it comes to plants that thrive in Florida from the exotic to the perennial, Tropiflora has to be seen to be believed. I have no idea how many greenhouses they have, but it's a lot and every one of them has row upon row of every plant you can imagine and many you can't. They are open to the public and well worth a trip. If you are not sure what you want be prepared to spend some time wandering through their extensive greenhouses. Before the virus shut everything down they held a couple of annual sales that aren't to be missed. They told me today that they hope to resume with a sale in the fall of '21, but the good news is, you don't have to wait for a sale; their regular prices are more than reasonable and if you go to their website and sign up with your email, you will get weekly specials. You also can order online and they'll ship it. I have never seen a more impressive array of plants in my 70 years on this planet and heartily recommend a visit.

What you see on the sign is literally what they have. Very basic, repetitive stock. Anything that is remotely interesting is NOT for sale. Not the friendliest people. Walkways between tables of plants are coated in thick mud, a customer slipped in the mud and fell while we were there.

This is such a cool place for anyone who loves bromeliads! This was my first visit and the next time I will arrive sooner than 40 minutes before their closing time of 4: 30. There are signs clearly explaining where to park and to check in at the office or with one of the friendly employees. So much beauty and tons of plants to see

An incredible nursery! A must for any plant lover and especially for bromelias. They also have beautiful orchids, succulents and air plants. We were lucky enough to meet the original owners, Dennis and Linda, and they were so kind and extremely knowledgeable. And loved to hear about their amazing travels all over the world! Such a wonderful experience!
