True Food Kitchen, Jacksonville FL

Wednesday night and all out of first two choices of wine.food was tasty, outside patio delightful.

** I am coming back to add to my last review. I went with a few friends recently on a Saturday night and had an excellent experience. Our waiter was the best and was so patient. He was super accommodating with all of our food allergies. The portions were much better than they had been the past few times I was there. Overall great customer service and delicious, healthy food!

I am gluten free and vegan so the choices they offer are great! TFK used to be my favorite place to eat, but the portion size for the cost is just not worth it anymore. $12 for the cauliflower and you only get a few bites. The quinoa bowl comes with a good amount of veggies, but barely any quinoa. I really hate to leave this review and of course I understand inflation, but I just can't justify the high cost with the small portions.

Excellent. The food is super fresh and delicious, beautiful clean atmosphere, and Ben our bartender was exceptional. Must try.

I really like the restaurant and that they offer some healthy foods. I don’t like that they don’t sell any milk for the coffee other than oat and almond creamers. I would like to have a cup of coffee with the regular milk which you should expect to have at any restaurant. The other think the management should look into is educating the staff about organic options. Every time we ask if something is organic they have to check with the kitchen and it adds time to our dining experience.

The food is very fresh and has quality ingredients. The restaurant is family and vegan friendly. We started off with the herb Hummus which was very different than what we are used but it was amazing. The butternut squash soup was made well and I enjoyed that as well. We also ordered the Korean noodle bowl, it had a lot going on in it and it was a bit salty for my taste but it definitely was magical haha. My little sister enjoyed it. We also ordered the burrito bowl and the kale salad.

Great food and elegant restaurant with awesome staff, but don't bring young kids unless you want them to hear GHETTO MUSIC THE ENTIRE TIME!

I mentioned this to my waiter, and asked him if it turns into a club after a certain hour and he said no. He said the music is corporate’s choice. I guess corporate hasn't understood that places with $18 burgers, served during the day, doesn't attract that sort of customer at that time.

We hosted a bridal shower brunch here this weekend and it was perfect! Jordan, who helped us coordinate the event was so easy and kind to work with. Our server Lulu was awesome- she was there whenever you needed something. The food was phenomenal, everyone was raving how fresh and delicious their meal was. Would highly recommend for a meal or to host an event/shower.

Food was amazing! Service was spectacular! And the atmosphere was refreshing. Would definitely go back. We even split a meal and they brought it out portioned perfectly on two plates!

Great atmosphere to eat. Service was great! My food was ok. Nothing to rave about. This burger was made out of beets and walnuts and nd the potatoes were so hard. The server brought me more potatoes same issue. Not interested in going back.

We'd like to commend Gabby, our server at True Food Kitchen at the Saint Johns Center. She always serves with such a smile and is very efficient in every way. True Food Kitchen in Jacksonville has some wonderful servers, and Gabby is definitely at the top of the list!

One thing about this restaurant is service is always great. Staff is always friendly and I like to sit at the bar and enjoy a few cocktails and conversations with the bartenders. Today I enjoyed a new fall cocktail, the old fashion smoke show, and it was an experience, and the Brussel sprouts and butternut squash soup are delicious.

Six Stars if I could!

Leaving another review as I'm not sure my first one went through.

We have gone to True Food Kitchen many times and it's delicious every time.

We love the hummus and one of my favorite dished is thd Spicy Panang Curry Bowl. The service has always been great. Never had a bad experience which is why we continue to return.

Horrible place food doesnt have taste and they dont serve normal soft drinks either so dont go here unless u wanna spend 200 for salads and burgers and unsweetened tea

First time I've ate here. Food was delicious, service was great, and I liked the area.

Food portion for the price doesn't match up.kids butter noodle bowl had a bigger portion than lasagne bolognaese!

Asked for water and was brought a glass with no ice! C'mon! You can get glass of ice water at the Waffle House and not ask for it.

Won't be back.

I really wanted to love this place. But I’m leaving disappointed. The teriyaki bowl topped with a sliver of a browning avocado lacked a lot of flavor. The chicken on the TFK chicken sandwich was dry, though the flavor was there. I can’t see myself ever going back.

Like everything about this place. The serve staff is friendly. The food is healthy and tasty. It is a but pricey but for the ambience and location it makes sense.

This place was awesome! They have fare for everyone's taste as I am pescatarian and doing Keto and they have a separate menu for keto and paleo choices so you do not have to sacrifice yourself to hang out and enjoy with friends. They have skinny drinks and mocktails, you want a capaccino or expresso. They also have 2 private area for meeting/presentation or a a large group.

Staff was excellent especially Brooke a student at UNF.
Great healthy choice.
