Bank Truist reviews
8DO NOT bank here! There are SO MANY hidden fees they don't tell you about! I can't wait until Monday to close my account! Truist is the most crooked bank!
This place smells like mold. I hated being in there for the ridiculous wait but I feel horrible for the employees that smell this all day.
Terrible customer service! One person working while 2 others literally stand around - when there's a line of people waiting!
This is specifically for the Commercial way location. There was an incredibly long wait. I need to deposit money into my new account that I opened online and the teller rudely directed me to customer service. I took a seat and waited again for about 20 mins before someone helped me and he told me the teller could have assisted me! I believe the manager is a woman with short blonde hair. She was so incredibly rude to every single customer. She was degrading and condescending to an elderly woman. She shouldn’t have her position as she has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever! I will NEVER visit this branch, I’m disgusted by the way customers are treated and I’m a brand new customer! I should’ve received way better treatment.
Signed up for Business Checking- Believe the other reviews and bank elsewhere. Out of all the banks I've ever had, this is by far the worst one yet. Checks were supposed to clear the next day and it took 2 days. I made zelle transfers and they were placed on hold. I had to call in several times to verify the transfers. Just a huge inconvenience overall. When I called the branch to speak with Lee, the one who set up our account, she wasn't available. Gentleman that answered said he will give her the message, never did. I also had to repeat my checking account number 4 times in order for him to find the account. I also left Lee 2 messages and never received a return call. Just bad customer service as well as the other issues I mentioned. Go to Wells Fargo or Chase.
When I opened this account, they wanted me to take a credit card to cover overdrafts etc, plus no maintenance fees monthly. I didn't, but I've kept over $600 balance since I opened it. Last month, no problem. I wrote one check. Still over $600 balance. This month, however, I was hit with a $12.00 maintenance fee. The non-English speaking customer service rep I FINALLY got after 30 minutes of automated BS, tried to tell me my particular account needed $1000 balance, which is a lie from what the lady told me when I opened the account. $500 was what I was told. If it was $1000, then why didn't they charge the $12 in previous months? One flekking scam after another, these banks! I've had my other 3 accounts at STATE FARM, now US BANK, for nearly 20 years and have had maintenance fees overrode every single month I've used them with NO particular balance. Think before you open one here. SCAMMERS! I'm closing mine here now and they can kiss my $$$ goodbye.
Trust us, as always, 100% professional & knowledgeable. Excellent customer care! (Formerly BBT)
