Truist, New Port Richey FL

I will be closing my Truist account. My transactions were canceled by the bank and their extremely unprofessional agent Benjamin in the Phillipines placed me on a long hold and came back blaming a 3rd party vendor that I use religiously, when the 3rd party already let me know that the bank rejected the transaction. Truist itself sent me an email about fraud on a transaction that I told them was being done by me, I replied to their text to let them know to proceed, that it's me doing it, then they told me to try again, and they still went ahead and canceled my next two transactions that they told me to make. Yet they took the money from the account and show each as 'pending' on their end and they actually cancelled them hours ago on the vendor's end. There's no one at Truist who can help fix this issue. Meanwhile the vendor still needs to get paid. I understand that the idea is to help protect my account, but you are only keeping me from accessing my own funds at this time.

Completely unhelpful. Usually I go in to avoid calls, generally faster and they're way more helpful in person. This branch is the opposite of that, in the sense they're worthless and a waste of time. They'll get to you quickly though, so at least they're good at something. Closing my account and finding a better bank, which is any of them.

Deposited a check, had my account # on the back and the young man deposited it to another account that wasn't even close to the number on my account.thankfully i looked at my receipt before I left.

They don’t offer a restroom to their customers! The other one near me does. How inconsiderate.

Horrible bank. Would not cash a payroll check drawn on their bank. And wanted to charge $7 fee

Horrible Bank, fees are almost double than any other bank, mobile deposit is a nightmare. Spent over an hour 2 days in a row till I finally got someone so I could close my acct before they found some other charge or fee to beat me out of, sad when all the thing's going on right now like covid that your bank feels the need to jerk you around as well. Would never recommend this bank, or truist or whatever there changing to. Nothing personal about this particular branch even though I opened my account there. But SunTrust overall not a good experience
