Bank Truist reviews
9Worst bank EVER, opened a new account with them, they gave me checks and all the info had me make a cash deposit into the account, were supposedly sending me my banking card, then without any contact whatsoever, I called to ask about my card and they had closed my account because of an outside consumer reporting agency report and the kept the cash deposit I had made.
Staff at branch are great. Truist though is abysmal. Haven’t done business with them since 2021, and they still are trying my patience. 20 minutes hold to talk to a person. Sad.
Sorry to say this bank sucks every time I turn around, my credit cards are not working, this is not working. I've already got 5 new credit cards and 4 new debit cards BB&T. Please come back.
I could write the US constitution 4 times in a row before the atm finishes a deposit. Jesus Christ replace that thing…
Since Truist took over BB&T. Truist is the most unfriendliness Bank. They have no help. People waiting on line. Agent acts like they are doing you a big favor.
Carl was amazing, friendly and made the experience worth it. Good customer service skills and able to work with me fast and efficiently because i was on a time crunch. Definitely recommended this bank to anybody and ask for Carl
I have been banking with BB&T before it became Truist. And this is the first time I have came in and was not greeted and never was told someone will be right with you. Mean while there are workers here talking about where they go shopping and we are still sitting her.
So very disappointed.
I live out of town. I had business twice at this bank today. I received exceptional service from Carol the branch manager this morning and exceptional service again this afternoon.
We moved here from northern Wisconsin where we used an amazing local credit union. We opened an account with Truist for basic banking and honestly it wasn’t to bad. Wait times can be long but aside from that it was fine. Now I have a transaction to dispute. For some reason it won’t let me do it online so we’ve called twice now. You can’t talk to anyone. You’re forced to leave a message. Well they don’t call you back! Seems we will have to actually go there to talk to someone! The funniest part is that I sold my house awhile back and the second that money hit my account they were calling me to see how I liked banking with them and asked if I needed anything or had any questions. I’ve since bought a new house so the money is gone and they can’t call back lol. So basically if you have a lot of money in your account you’ll get good customer service. If you don’t then good luck! We are now looking to switch to a credit union.: (
