2 I made a deposit last month from a Canadian Bank. I was sent a letter from Trustco the following day saying the deposit amount was removed from my account so the bank could request the funds directly from the Canadian bank. I was informed more than 2 weeks later that IT COULD TAKE UP TO 40 DAYS TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE CHECK AMOUNT! That's no typo - 40 DAYS! (I've been waiting 24 days so far.) Someone needs to inform Trustco Bank that they don't need to drive a horse-drawn covered wagon to Canada to get my funds! This is 2023!
This is just one of several negative instances I've had with this bank. All banks offer reasonably similar products and services, so if you have any choice stay away from Trustco - all branches.
Bank Manager Carmen is super welcoming and kind. The rest of the staff as well were very welcoming. Best Trustco Bank I have been to yet.
