Dealership couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my car and the team at tuffys were amazing and figured out it was my resonator and got a new one on and I was out the door thanks John and bill and team you all rock

Bill and John are two amazing people. They tell me what needs to be done with my car. Everytime I go in they treat me and the other customers with the most respect. If they notice something is wrong with my car they tell me up front and don't beat around the bush.

Don't come here, this place is a scam and I hear them taking advantage of people all the time when I used to sit there and wait for my company car to get an oil change, I had my company cancel the account with them and everything

My kids and I have been coming to this location for roughly 13 years or so. Years ago, this place was great in the beginning, but now it’s just not the same. It’s always something whether it’s spilling oil all over your engine or forgetting to put the oil cap back on and leaving huge grease marks all over your carpet and seats. They are just careless and pretty much, despite maybe a few they are very inexperienced. I had a very bad experience on my last visit and I have had enough. I will no longer be bringing any of my five vehicles back to this location. I called and talked to John the manager, and he could pretty much care less. Of course he will respond to this review as they pretty much have to because of big brother watching and I’m sure he’ll say the same thing he says about every other bad review on here. This place is a joke, steer clear. There’s lots of other reputable locations within minutes of this place.

Amazing service! Came in for an emergency tire repair, they showed me the value stem that punctured the tire and explained how they were going to repair it.they took me in right away and they were all so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this location!

Was going to have my oil changed at Tuffy's again, had it done last year with no problems. But after reading all the bad reviews and all the same responses to all the bad reviews they received, there is NO WAY I will let them get my business ever again. All these people that feel they were ripped off are NOT lying. The bad workmanship, the upselling, cars leaving the shop and breaking down, misleading statements to women and over charging them. Customer's taking their cars to different shops to fix their cars the right way for way less, and then being told that Tuffy's was bullcraping them, to make more money, Wow! Thank God, I decided to checkout the reviews. I will be going to Take 5 to change my oil from now on, because that's all they do.

I have been visiting this location for around 1.5-2 years for oil changes and check engine light repairs. I thought I had found a place that was doing right by me. Unfortunately, the only thing they did on my last visit was send me away in tears with a $2,150 repair bill which was mostly for shocks, struts and tires. Almost $1200 of that was for quick struts. I will be attaching both quotes to this review.

Here’s the thing, I asked for 2 things:

1) Please change the oil — which I thought for $69.99 came with top-ups on things like windshield washer fluid, but it certainly didn’t on this last visit.

2) The important one: Please diagnose the concerning noise coming from my engine.

Some minutes later I was handed a bill for a throttle body clean (legitimate), shocks, struts and tires which I was assured was so dire I shouldn’t wait or operate the vehicle much — but wait, why exactly are we talking struts, shocks and tires when I have an ENGINE noise? The best part — when I asked about that engine noise — oh, he couldn’t pinpoint that. Yes, well, I imagine that would be difficult when you’re looking at my suspension and tires instead of my engine. Folks, this noise sits smack in the middle of the engine. If I can locate it, why exactly can’t they?

GET A SECOND OPINION.

A clearly more reputable company diagnosed a timing belt tensioner needed replacement. Now I may not know a lot about cars, but I do know that if that tensioner snaps I would have a very nice $2,150 set of new struts, shocks and tires on a car with a seized engine that would have cost me a couple more grand to fix. On the upside, my timing issues were only about 60% of the cost of the Tuffy quote, so at least their quote made this new one for the real issue seem downright reasonable.

Completely unacceptable. Buyer beware.

Picked up a friend after he dropped off his car for service. Went to church. By the time we got out of worship, the car was just about ready. Great job! Definitely will be back.

Front desk guys sure are friendly, knowledgeable nice people… But just a warning it will be one thing after another. They also destroyed my radiator in the process of fixing my AC.found out a few days later when my car started overheating out of nowhere.thankfully, someone else fixed it and i found someone trust worthy.

Horrible customer service. Guy working the front desk thought it was appropriate to talk negative about me as a customer to his boss while I’m standing right there. When I went to leave I brought it to the managers attention who didn’t seem to care at all & instead thought trying arguing with me was the proper apology. Absolutely terrible service

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! THIS PLACE IS SCAM THEY WILL DESTORY YOUR VEHICLE. THEY HAVE NO EXPERIENCE NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY TYPE OF REPAIRS. MANAGERS AND OR THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE DID NOT WANT TO REFUND MY MONEY AND I WON A DISPUTE. Plesse stay away from this place. Just go to MAVIS across the street they have 5starss and They will take care of you

I called and politely asked if they changed out inline fuel filters. Immediately got hung up on and no call back. A simple no would have been nice.

Please read entire thread in review. I called and left a message as requested on this review and did not recieve a return call nor did I recieve a copy of the estimate requested 5 times or more. I hope if anyone reads this and uses them for major repairs you have better luck then we did. 1600 dollars and two days later we have a car that is undrivable. At this point I give up on them doing the right thing.

Again, I appreciate the response however I have requested the written estimate for the work we payed for 3 time since this posting. Do you have to provide that in the state of Florida? We never agreed to not recieving one. We discussed our concern with you over the phone and you were dishonest so I would prefer you send us the written estimate and we will get a second opinion.

Again the car broke down the NEXT DAY! We must have the worst luck in the world. Please provide the written estimate (4th request).

We are new to the area and our car engine light turned on and the engine was riding ruff with no related sounds. I began researching service centers in the area and decided on Tuffy because thier website promised things like" Done Right Period' and states that they specialize in engine issue diagnosing.

Tuffy then began working on our engine to resolve the issues and 1600 dollars later they told us the engine was fixed and ready to go.
Two days later our car completely broke down and we towed it back to Tuffy and 13 hours after it was dropped off they called us and stated the engine was bad and has to be replaced.

So we ended up paying them 1600 because they missed diagnosed the problem and when we asked them to make it right and provide a full refund thier response was "there is no way we would have known this was the issue with the engine". (so much for specializing in engine diagnosing, right? !)

We did not recieve any refund or apology!

I thought it was the right thing to do to inform others to make sure they do not recieve the treatment and bad service we did and I will also be taking next steps by reporting the issue to the state.

These guys are very customer oriented. They truly listen to what you are saying and will find the best solution to your problem.
