I had a pretty good experience. I had wished I got more hands on experience, but the knowledge I have learned has been helpful.

I had went to tulsa during covid for HVAC and the whole experience was horrid. The classes were on the phone the teacher were completely unreliable when it came to teaching. Of course there were some great teachers but most of them were completely unprofessional teaching basically nothing on the HVAC side. It felt like I had been completely scammed and now forced to pay a loan for something I barely learned and that gave no opportunity after the whole thing as the jobs were either move somewhere completely away or work for a low wage company. Shoot most of the time the teachers were allowing students to cheat even during the final. SO I REPEAT DO NOT GO FOR HVAC AT ALL WHATSOEVER IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

Have been calling for the past 2 weeks for my certification and transcript and I still don’t have it and it is very very important that I receive it

Did not teach everything they said and once you get past phase 3 they don't care about the students instructors dint help and don't care if you can weld they will just push you through even though taking it again is allowed but they don't care they just make you go on when you can't do the current phase are the phase your going into

The Instructors are awesome! But, I would recommend to go to FSCJ for their welding program, its a fraction of the cost and when you leave your are actually certified in what you want to be, not just having a certificate of completion and a huge bill to pay if you don't get that one job 2000 miles away to pay it back. I went through Tulsa and am still paying them and no one would help certify anything with out paying a nominal fee. I went through FSCJ and took half the time and I was able to be certified before I left. Just saying look at all of your options first.

Unless you’re a veteran I would recommend going elsewhere for your trade training and certification.

This is a business and they want you to sign up for loans with very little scholarships and grants available. It shouldn’t be this way but it is.

Love the learning experience and had a blast while I was there. The teachers are very helpful and try hard to help everyone complete the class

During this crisis they should have a web site that you can watch educational videos on, rather than showing up for 2hours once a week, limiting exposure to the virus. I drive 50miles one way to boot.

I would rate less but to be honest, this post isn't really worth making. This school needs major improvement in faculty and staff. Also needs better phone operators and better time management because it would seem like their always on break. Overall 1.7 out of 10 for me and I go to the school.

Transferred here from a different welding school and like this one way better, real hands on learning with good instructors who know what it’s like to work in the field.

Excellent school. Great instructors. Warm environment for learning. Perfect opportunity to train for a career. They also help immensely with job placement. Bryan Hatch is nice.

In approximately nineteen years of being in school and/or doing training James Howard is the best instructor/professor/teacher that I've ever had. He is not only an excellent welding instructor, but he is also an excellent mentor who is invested in the progress of his students.

They don't care about the students.they are only interested in getting your money so that the higher ups can get their bonuses.they don't care about you

The instructors are very knowledgeable and they are always willing to help you out if you are having problems with the material being taught and in the labs. Some of the best instructors I had were Jimmy, Paul Pearson, Shane Murphy, Mike Marrilees, Zach Verts, Laurie Pieper, and John George. Anyone who has these folks for instructors will learn a tremendous amount. I highly recommend the pipe fitting class after the professional welder school. I was offered a job with General Dynamics in Norfolk VA while still in the program. Laurie Pieper and John George are the pipe fitting instructors and they have many years working in the field and they will work with you and make sure that you understand how to set up, measure and fit up various piping systems. I highly recommend this school

Graduated master welder after 10 years experience in welding field before training, welding instructors were good and the school did a good job pushing students thru the program and not supporting them after as promised. Thanks Tulsa welding
