TUMI Outlet Store - Destin

I've made multiple purchases at this Tumi outlet location over the years, and I have never had a bad experience! I recently made another purchase, and once again it was a great experience! I love how they go ahead and monogram the tag that goes on the bag/luggage while you wait, just a few mins and you are on your way! Olga was incredibly helpful and patient while I compared different products, and was still patient with me when I went to purchase and my card declined (didn't realize I had hit my daily limit on debit card). She put my name on the suitcase and held it in the back for me until I could get things sorted with the bank a few days later. While there was a slight language barrier, that did not have a negative effect on my experience, and I do enjoy taking the time to speak with and getting to know people from other places and cultures. I was surprised to see the last couple of reviews were so negative, self-righteous, and personally attacked a specific employee by name. (Honestly this reflects much more on the reviewer and not on the actual employee/business) It seems like maybe a language and/or cultural misunderstanding, and maybe the person writing the review had a chip on their shoulder about something and may be projecting, I don't know I wasn't there, but I know I never felt judged or demeaned, even when my card kept declining, nor did I see or have ever seen those behaviors displayed to any other customer in the store. Thanks Tumi, and thank you Olga, for another outstanding experience! I love my purchase and will definitely be back!

Went to get a wallet for my husband and asked the sales lady name Olga for RFID wallet. She said there’s none and told me not to look around cause all the wallets are the same but different color. I ended up buying two items, and Olga asked if I just wanted to check price only. She had been treating me like I can’t afford Tumi outlet priced merchandise. I wanted to pay and not asking for price and yet she treated me like I can’t afford to buy. I’m on vacation and may not had my make up on but I dressed up properly for going out. Olga acted to high almighty and made customers unwelcome and looked down upon. Very poor customer service.

If you’re asian I recommend not stopping by. The blonde middle aged lady was not friendly at all and seemed racist as she was very nicely helping another lady but did not even offer to help us even standing right ne t to us. She also greeted other people but not me and my family as we walked in.
