Dr. Turke and Christine are fabulous! He has provided orthodontics for both of my children. Care plan is realistic and clear, appointments are easily made, office runs on schedule and pricing is fair.

Dr. Turke and his staff are professional and straightforward. When you schedule an appointment they have consideration for your time and you were seen quickly. Dr. Turke is without a doubt is one of the best Orthodontics in Brandon Florida.

We recently scheduled a consultation, I was told by our primary dentist that the office needed to retire and not to go. But we didn’t listen. I wish I had listened! What a waste of time. He was rude and very uninformative. He was very passive aggressive with his responses. It wasn’t about the procedures or financial that he said my son was going to need, it was his delivery, his professionalism; which was not professional in anyway; I hope nobody chooses to give a dime to his practice.

Adult patients beware! My experience is from 2018-2021. Had a very unfortunate case with this man. He never took kindly to questions. Even though he said it was good to ask questions, he was visibly annoyed when I wanted to know what he was doing. I needed jaw surgery, and the original timeframe he told me was 12-18 months, but after braces came on, he always said "I don't know" or "we'll see" when I asked him when I could get the surgery done. Took him 32 months to prepare me for jaw surgery which was conveniently after I finished paying off the braces. After surgery, he would not do anything which caused me a lot of confusion. My jaw began tilting, my lip misaligned due to teeth not being fixed, and many other issues that were not fixed. He stated they were the surgeon's issues and that I needed to go speak with her. He told me rubber bands don't work on adults, and finally nearly 3 months after surgery he finally did something to my braces. Unfortunately, my mouth was already messed up at this point. He told me he was only stabilizing my teeth and not moving them at all, so he essentially did nothing at all after my surgery. He left me with an open bite which completely disrupts my sleep. Got absolutely no partial refund for the way he left me incomplete. Very disgusting drawn out experience and a waste of thousands of dollars. I paid to have my teeth aligned and fixed, but sadly all I got was an education on who not to trust.

Very unsatisfying phone conversation, leaving me confused and disappointed.: (

I recently moved from NJ to FL and called Dr. Turke's office to set up services so I could continue the orthodontic treatment I started in June of 2021. Keep in mind that I don't actually have braces yet (context below). Instead, my orthodontist started me in a Carriere Motion Appliance to correct my significant overbite before braces were started.

I was informed that Dr. Turke's practice does not take transfer patients. I was very disappointed to learn this, especially since his practice has such a great reputation and positive online reviews. While I can understand this policy for some instances, I wouldn't consider myself to be a typical transfer patient since I am not actually in braces. When I explained this to the receptionist, she mentioned that she wasn't even sure what a Carrier Appliance was, and I quote "What did you say the appliance is called again? " Yikes.

I continued on because I really liked Dr. Turke's website after reviewing it, and the office location to my home. So, I mentioned the possibility of going somewhere and having the appliance removed, and I asked if I would still be considered a transfer patient, to which she replied, (quoted again) "But then the issue becomes, can Dr. Turke even correct your smile. " WHAT? !

When I finally mentioned that I wouldn't even really know where to go and get the appliance removed anyway, she said, "When you're online, look for places that have several locations. They will 'always" take a transfer patient. " W-H-A-T? !

Dr. Turke's website lists two locations: North Tampa, and Brandon. It goes on to say, and I quote, "Turke Orthodontics serving, Brandon, Bloomingdale, Valrico, Riverview, Seffner, Dover, Plant City, FishHawk, Lithia, Gibsonton, Apollo Beach, and North Tampa.

I'm at a loss here. This is one of the most bizarre conversations I've ever had with a specialist's office. FIRSTLY, a Carriere Motion Appliance is a WIDELY known appliance and its use in correcting overbites is quite popular. SECONDLY, when you advertise multiple locations, why would you suggest looking for other orthodontists with multiple locations who accept transfer patients? LASTLY, it's probably not a good thing to hear from an orthodontist's office, "But then the issue becomes, can Dr. Turke even correct your smile. "

I wish Dr. Turke and his office staff at all locations the best. I'm not trying to ruin a reputation, nor do I think one review ever does that. I simply want to make known my experience, hoping that it gets noticed, and for the next person, the experience and information provided is better.

Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to say to Dr. Turke and Christine (front desk). Both were so patient, kind, and extremely helpful/informative. Definitely recommend Dr. Turke to anyone looking to take the first step into their orthodontic journey.

Do not recommend. I had a visit today on 07/22 and it lasted for maybe 10 minutes. I went in for an ortho consult. There were no X-rays or pictures taken of my teeth. I arrived and was escorted in directly to the room that I was to be seen in. The office was empty and no other patients were there so I’m assuming that’s why I was able to go straight back. The doctor comes straight in, does not greet me but tells me to turn around in the seat and lean back so he could see my teeth. I did as instructed and he places the mirror looking instrument in my mouth to take a look. He did this for about 10 minutes. He then ask me what did I want to correct with my teeth and I tell him. He ask had I saw another orthodontist prior and I told him yes and he asked what their recommendations were. I also told him. He then says that I should go back to that orthodontist because he’s afraid that he wouldn’t be able to correct my teeth and they had a better treatment plan. Now mind you, I was never recommended by my primary dentist to get braces or any other dentist for that matter it’s just something I want for myself to have a neater smile.ive actually been asked by prior dentist if I’ve had braces before because my teeth are fairly straight for the most part. I was blown away by his recommendation and his avoidance of wanting to assist at all. He had good reviews so I thought I’d give him a shot but he clearly wasn’t what has been portrayed by other reviewers. He basically pushes me off to the other dentist and I thought that wasn’t very professional.
I understand being honest but my teeth are not the issue as I believe it was something else really the issue. Either way, I would not recommend him to anyone I know. His vibe was off from the moment I stepped into his office and sat in the chair. A complete waste of my time

We love Turke Orthodontics! The office environment is quiet and inviting. The individual attention we receive from Dr. Turke makes us feel important and cared for. He is never in a hurry and always takes the time to address our questions and concerns thoughtfully and thoroughly. His conversation with the kids is engaging and encouraging. Thank you, Dr Turke and Christine! Our visits in your office are always easy and pleasant!
