'Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa reviews
15OUTSTANDING place. Very friendly, excellent food and drinks. The staff is awesome and the amenities are great. Great food at the restaurants and a wonderful beach. They have kayaking, parasailing and wave runners, we did all of them and it was awesome! Would highly recommend this place.
Misleading, not as viewed on website. Absolute dump. Renovation is much needed. Not at all worth the daily rates requested by the so called resort.
Yes pricey but soooo worth it! Clean beautiful rooms, excellent staff, the beach and beautiful pools. Once you park, you don't move again until you check out! 4th time here and will be back!
Will is quite literally a hero. We lost our room key, and he went so far above to find it and saved us a night of being totally locked out of our room. That man deserves a raise! Thank you so much, Will!
Awesome location. Really clean up to date lodging. Definitely would go back and highly recommend staying in one of the cottages.
If you want luxury mixed with the charm of beach cottages, world class dining, manicured grounds and beaches, a well equipped marina, beautiful pools, poolside libations all in a laid back environment, look no further. Nothing on Florida’s west coast can match ‘Tween Waters!
Went recently for a wedding stayed in osprey cottage.mold on shower walls scratches over all walls and doors not updated at all chairs couch and dinning chairs were all falling apart also wall paper was coming off in the bathroom! Our toilet was broken it ran every time we flushed my husband had to take the lid off and mess with it every time.when we let the registration office know they offered to send out their maintenance team and we did not want to deal with them fixing things in our room while we were on our vacation! Overall bad experience and would not recommend! Only thing that was good would be the beach was clean! My point is that these thing should have been fixed and cleaned before we got checked in!
Brenda is a horrible bartender.
We weren't the only ones who were disappointed by her attitude and lack of work ethic to serve a crowd. But she did say she is college educated, so she has a back up plan.
Room spacious and clean, did not like the fact that I had to pay $25 for a chair on the beach every day, did not find staff overly helpful or friendly especially the pool bar staff, drinks and food very expensive.
A great stay on Captiva Island! The restaurants attached were great and drag bingo we attended. We also enjoyed the complimentary kayak rentals. Perfect location to feel secluded but also not too far from all of the action!
The staff is wonderful! The place is clean! The Bartenders are awesome! Love it there! My home away from home! I have been coming down here for 8 years and I always stay at Tween Waters. Just absolutely relaxing and wonderful!:) Can't wait to go next year! Thank you!:) Christine MacDuff
I was not impressed with the rooms. First they gave me a room with two full beds for my husband and I. I had them to switch to a king size bed, they gave me the room next door. It was awful. The carpet was old and the room smelled. I asked for my deposit to go somewhere else. They returned, but never told me it takes three days for it to show up in my account.
On a lighter note, the spa was great. I got a facial, she was wonderful. My husband got massage, he said she was pretty good.
The lady at the front desk was awesome. Great customer service.
Too bad the rooms were horrible and smelly.
We end up staying in Sanibel at Sundial Resort and Spa.
Love this place. Their day passes are quite expensive. That's the only drawback. They use to give a food voucher for $25 and I was going they did this time but didn't
What is not to like about Captiva and the Tween Waters Inn transports you to a place and time where you can just relax, unwind and enjoy! You could go there, not leave and have a perfectly wonderful time! The Old Captiva House restaurant on the property will more meet your dining needs. Check out the cottages on property with all their history, very unique. If you want snacks and extras for your room, definitely stop on the way in Sanibel at Jerry's grocery, see the birds, pick up some libations, then relax and enjoy.
The staff there was condescending, disrespectful, and completely unwilling to help my wife work through a credit card problem which was identified to be on their end! IT took several phone calls and over an hour of my time from DC (while working) to rectify. When I called the facility to try and help my wife, the woman who answered the phone from the front desk continually talked over me and did not permit me to finish my statement. Then upon my growing anger towards her extremely poor customer service (lack of) skills, she hung up on me. Upon my recalling the facility, no one would pick up my call from the front desk.
Do yourself a favor - find other reputable lodging while staying on the beautiful Isle of Captiva! This place isn't worth the money spent. My wife indicated her room had a frayed rug (a tripping hazard) and old, worn-out carpeting.
