Twin Lakes Apartments, Palm Harbor FL

AC stopped blowing cold air in the late afternoon. I submitted a request and it was addressed within a couple hrs. This has happened a few times but has always been addressed asap.

Denise was great! She answered all of our questions and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in.

Officially 1,000% irritated by the community staff. This irritation has been building since month #2 at Twin Lakes. Complete lack of care from the office staff.
I’ve lived in this apartment with leaks from upstairs that were fixed months after the work order was placed. My child not able to sleep in his room or use the 2nd bathroom.
Lied to me about repairs “We went to the upstairs unit and fixed the issue causing the leak. ”
I called my neighbor upstairs. They were never in the unit. Its an absolute shame that I have to stop members of the maintenance team outside to inform them my place needs fixing. I had one maintenance guy tell me “Hey I heard whats going on in your apartment. Any word when we’ll have the issues resolved? ” You tell me!
I’ve had mold growing in my main bedroom for months and water coming in through the windows each time it rains. It’s pathetic that the response I received is “Well the air conditioning or heater will help with the moisture in the apartment. ” My two children and wife have compromised immune systems and the community says. “I’m sorry that’s happening “ I don't need your apologies, I need these issues fixed when im paying 2grand/ month to live there, then you want to raise the rent up to $2,200!
Just got off the phone with the manager because we have inspections going on. I received the notice. I’m assuming they wanted me to call off work to be there because with a heavy attitude she tells me “Well Alberto we did send you a notice! Can we enter without you being present!? ” While dismissing me.
I don’t care about the notice because every notice I’ve ever given has fallen on deaf ears!

I was very impressed with the community. Very different than most. A very quaint little area offset from the busy traffic. Feels like your in your own little cottage in the woods. The representative Denise, was very thorough and invested alot of time with me. She is extremely pleasant and personable to interact with as well. Very professional. I plan on moving there for the reasons I mentioned. Thank you.

Pros: nice employees. Safe. Quality maintenance. No pests issues. In unit washer and dryer. Newly renovated. Plenty of parking.
Cons: a lot of people don’t pick up after their dogs. Not enough dog stations. First half of the property is pretty and manicured and other half is sandy and dirty, like they gave up halfway. Very expensive. Maintenance seems to forget about work orders or delay them by months but once they come it’s good.
Overall I really enjoyed living here.

Denise was patient and very honest. Thank you for all your hard work! It's a lovely place to live.

Money hungry complex & bug issues! Rent is way more than what you’re told. Expect to pay $150 plus. When i first moved in the toilet was clogging all the time, the maintenance was trying to walk me through fixing it myself. (Lazy)! There’s a lot of bug issues be aware.
My apartment had a lot gnats and nothing was done about it. Dead gnats in the fridge and freezer. I requested to have maintenance every week to resolve the issue and did not get it.
There was also spiders all over the apartment & pest control told me they couldn’t do anything about it.
Be aware of how your place looks when you move in! A lot of things just get pained over even mold near the tub in the bathroom.
Maintenance takes about two days before responding to any issue as well.
When moving out came up with all of these fees to charge for (GREEDY)
ALSOOOO they do not replace carpet when you move. The property manager (Ekaterina) told me the expectancy is 5 years and took $200 from my deposit because they claim there was dirt in the carpet from shoes.lol. Be aware carpet is not Newley replaced after every tenant unless they really have to replace carpet LOL.

I put in a request for pest control, and they never showed, and my work order was closed so now I have to put in for another one and wait another week for them to show up.then I get an excuse why it happened it’s not acceptable. Someone dropped the ball on this one.

The staff office is great! All kind, very available for tours, and great at getting back to emails.

Its a great place to live. Close to everything. Management respects tenants needs/requests and are quick to get back to you. We couldn't have chose a better place!

The most wonderful, effortless and professional experience. Moving from out of state it can be quite overwhelming but the staff from management to maintenance staff, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Staff aside the community is so clean, safe and peaceful. I couldn't be happier that I chose Twin Lake Apartments in Palm Harbor! Denise and the team are amazing!

Entered my apartment multiple times during height of Covid pandemic) even after explaining to them numerous times that there were compromised individuals living there.
Black mold growing and painted over, non working ac for most of the summer, being denied access to amenities.
Allowing aggressive dogs (think German Shepard with PTSD) constant smell of cigarette smoke coming into paper thin windows that had been putted together. And when asked to provide video evidence Angela Moon called the police on me and then sent maintenance again to walk into my door.
These type of places are while bills like Stella's law are so important.
They also gave officer Huddleston of the PCSO my phone number where he called me but when I checked in at the PCSO they had no 911 calls on record.
So I would not recommend this place to anyonev I did not despise with every fiber of my being.

It was a great place to live. Didn’t like being right next to the Meth Western. Seen a lot of fights and screaming and loud music from that hotel. Maintenance is excellent. They are quick and efficient. Over all I would definitely live there again if I ever came back to Florida.

Lived at Twin Lakes for nearly three years and the only reason I’m moving out is because of the purchase of a new home. It is extremely safe, clean, maintenance team is great (especially Tony!) and so is staff! I loved my time here, never had any issues and only have positive things to say.

I have been a resident here with my son for over 10 years. The office staff have always been fantastic to us as well as maintenance. I am so lucky to call Twin Lakes my home! Please ignore the bad ratings. You will LOVE it here!

I had called on Saturday around 3: 30ish pm and spoke w Denise G asking her about vacancies and if I can go for a tour. She said she'll be in the office until 5pm I can stop by and we can go from there. She was amazing! She answered all my questions, sent me a quote to my email, and gave me a tour of the complex the amenities and showed me an apt. Looking forward to completing my application. Thank you Denise!

We have been residents at Twin Lakes for exactly 2 weeks now. The ladies Katrina and Denise in the front office are so sweet and helpful. They gladly help with answering any questions you have and assist with the application process to make sure you have everything in your file that you need to be move in ready. They are always available and if not they get back with you very quickly. We absolutely love our apartment. We submitted a maintenance request and it was resolved within 3 days so that was really great too. The whole team seems very awesome.
