I’ll start this review with positive feedback. First, the 5 x 8 trailer I rented was perfect for the job. It allowed me to safely transport a pallet of mulch from Home Depot to my house (about 8 miles) without any issues. It was well made, sturdy, had a low gate and easy to hook up. Last, it was reasonably priced at $18.95 @ day + tax and insurance. They get 1 star for that. Next comes the horrible part:

This U-Haul location is terribly managed. Some people that work here are rude, ignorant and liars. They stand around on their cell phones all day. They are very short staffed and don’t train their employees well. The guy that hooked up my trailer broke my 5-pin connector and then lied claiming he did not when I stood there & watched him in front of me. When I challenged him on it, he claimed it was made in China and not his fault. During the registration & prepayment, I was given paperwork and sent on my way with NO instructions for equipment return. The next day when I returned the trailer, it was scanned and they told me to go inside. There was a line of 4 people and after waiting 15 minutes I asked why Am I waiting when all this should be cleared when the equipment was returned. Then another employee told me that I should be getting an email confirming the completed rental with a receipt. It did happen from their scanning process. Had I known that in advance, it would have made things easier & saved me a lot of wasted time.

This experience was a terrible compared to my last truck rental in Knoxville TN & Warner Robbins GA. They were nice up there, polite and very informative. Corporate needs to get this location fixed!

I didn't have a good experience with all the representatives having me speak to different managers, just to refill my propane tanks.

I booked a reservation 2 months in advanced for a uhaul ubox and was denied a ubox on the scheduled day of pickup. After many phone calls to customer service and 24 hours later, my movers were able to pick up the box and fill it with my belongings. I then went the next day to pick up some important documents that were packed inside the container and the gentlemen at the counter denied access to my ubox and advised me I had to give a 24 hour notice to access my ubox. At this time the uhaul center was absolutely empty and he could of easily checked to see if the ubox was accessible as it was dropped off the day before. I didn’t mind the 24 hour rule but he didn’t even get up from his chair to check after I requested him to do so. I moved across the country and I will be moving back in a couple years and I will spend the extra money for a POD. Avoid this location if you expect any type of customer service.

The people working there was about as helpful as a box of rocks! Absolutely terrible! Every time I called, no one knew what they were doing and on hold for 20+ minutes another time.

If I could give it a zero I would the trailer I was pulling blew a tire at 1: 30 pm and I called roadside assistance and they kept telling me someone was coming to help me i waited til 10 am the next day and no one came so I towed the trailer back on three wheels. I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone nor will I ever use them again I am gonna get a lawyer and sue.

The fastest and most efficient experience I’ve ever had at a Uhaul. I rented a trailer for a long-distance move and they got me in and out quickly. Very smooth experience

Can’t do anything. Had me running around for 3 days just for boxes. Ended up canceling. Homedepot is more expensive but definitely more convenient

Horrible customer experience using reservation system. Only 1 employee available for checking out truck even though reservation was already made and I checked in online. Over 7 employees walking around but unable to help. Waited over an hour to pick up my reserved truck even though I got there 15 min early, checked in online, and should have been able to grab keys. No signs to prewarn that they don't abide by Uhauls online reservations check-in process.

Brought my car in to have brake controller re-installed (was done incorrectly at another place). Was met in the parking lot by the installer who, In a little over an hour, had rewired the controller, added an in-line fuse and replaced a fuse for one of the 12 volt receptacles on the dash. Very, very neat install and even showed me that all was working correctly using a 7pin plug diagnostic plug. Have already told others about how great the service was!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Mr NY hat had atrocious attitude towards potential clients and blue masked cuban dude wasn't far behind.

The person in the front desk was extremely rude, 0 customer service. She doesn’t help us in our request, she denied the rent to us, and she didn’t said anything about it, she didn’t offer another option. Extremely dissatisfied. I suggest to change the employee

It’s the worst place. Always crowded because they are under staff all the times. No matter what day or what hours you go there, it is always a long wait and the staff are not friendly at all. To fill up your propane sometimes you have to wait there for 30-40 minutes for someone to show up there and fill up the propane. They don’t assist their customers at all. It’s a horrible place.

The worst place to rent a U-hall they rent my truck even that i have the reservation, with no excuses, the managers it’s the worst person, he doesn’t have a answer to give me, I lost my day, you will remember me!

This place is always soooo understaffed and an absolute madhouse! If you want your move to be tilted to an even worse experience, come here.

I hate writing this as staff is always stressed and its not technically their fault, but it shows. Staff run on a constant frustration with clients AND staff. They take every approach as its not their fault and argue with even themselves.

They over charge on gas I went 17 miles and they said I used a. 25 tank of gas ridiculously.

Avoid this location:
- Mechanics, cashiers, and the manager are all unhelpful and some are even rude.
- They tried to double charge me for an installation.
- Wouldn't even call the day before -or even the same day- to cancel the installation appointment; had to get there to be turned back.
- There's no way to get in touch with the location unless you get the manager's office number.and even then you have to be lucky for him to be around. - Wasted time and money.
- The day of the installation they didn't call to say the car was ready.
- They installed a piece damaging the muffler and tried to get out of repairing it by saying the mechanic was already gone, when he wasn't. I found him at the shop and had to ask him directly to fix the mistake.
- They didn't install one of the bolts and said the piece didn't require nor came with it, which later I found out is another lie, forcing me to take one of the bolts out and find it in a hardware store and install it. Again, avoid at all costs.

Worse customer service I ever experienced. Given the wrong trailer size and workers stood around talking I had to complain to the store manager who made excuses for their behavior. As a woman in this all male establishment I felt belittled and degraded when I asked for assistance with driving the trailer into their narrow driveway.

Worst experience I've ever had! I paid in advance and scheduled for our company van to get a hitch installed. We had to reschedule the first appointment because they weren't ready for us. They rescheduled us for today (without letting us know, we had to call corporate to find out!) BUT GUESS WHAT? They weren't ready for us for today either! Both times, they DID NOT give us a heads up or even a curtesy call. You can't even get anyone from this location on the phone! It redirects your call to corporate after it rings for about 30 minutes. STAY AWAY, unless you enjoy losing money and having your time wasted!

DO NOT SERVICE HERE! I wouldn’t even give them 1 star but I had to, to write this review my husband and I rented a truck to move may 1. Use 25miles on the truck returned the truck they charged us 82.02 for the truck which was correct then decided to charge us again 692$! Stating that my husband used 500! Miles on the truck Which is Ridiculous the manager that I spoke to was rude he Went back and forth with me didn’t apologize to me about the matter they have yet to refund us our money! Which the manager told me he would I have contacted there Corporate office.this was my first! And last time going to this place.
