I think many would agree it's sometimes difficult to find a stylist that would understand what you want done and actually achieve it but once you do, then they should know they got one loyal customer in you because that's me with U. B. U Color Salon! Place is neat and if you're like me who likes 1st appointment of the day, they open as early as 7.they have a lot of talented stylists, so you'll get your money's worth.

I just moved to Tampa and got a Ouidad haircut from one of the hairdressers (a haircut designed for curly hair and much more expensive than a regular cut). I thought it felt different than normal because I have been getting them for years. Even when he was cutting it, I knew it looked different, but he said it was a “new way he had learned to do it. ”
I rebooked the same person 4 months later when it was time for another cut, and they called me the day before my appointment saying he is not certified in Ouidad so I would have to pick someone who is. I paid Ouidad price last time. Not right at all!

I loved every minute of my experience here. My stylist was Penny. My hair looks amazing! She was so professional and explained everything that she was doing. I am so very happy I found this salon.

Charles is awesome! He really does a great job with coloring my hair. Love hime and this Salon.

My wife came to get her hair colored a new color for her birthday. I cannot thank Penny and Victoria enough for the amazing job they did. It’s a great feeling to see your wife smile when she sees the finished product. Last time she smiled this much was on our wedding day! Haha she looks beautiful and I can tell she feels it-thanks to Penny and Victoria! Penny went an extra mile to be sure my wife loved her hair and she definitely does! If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Lingy did an absolutely amazing job correcting + lightening my hair. If you are looking to start the blonde process from brown hair, she’s the girl to go to. My hair came out better than I could have ever expected. She took her time to perfect the craft and I REALLY appreciate that in a stylist.

Rick Barnes is a miracle worker! His work is meticulous and I always leave feeling absolutely beautiful!

1st time client.made an appointment, he took my card information. Stated I'm not charging just holding.never said a cancelation fee. CHARGING ME 170. FOR NOTHING.you could've charged me 50. BUT 170.00 TO CANCEL?

I’m so grateful to have found Penny! I found her after looking for a true platinum blonde specialist after a salon completely messed up my hair. She fixed it and she does it effortlessly. A master of her craft. This salon has that girl time feel too for me it always feels like I’m going over to a friends house to hang. Just love this place. Everyone who works here is awesome and works together so well. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll never go anywhere else!

I started going to UBU color Solon last summer. I had been trying to go icy white from dark brown for almost a year and the person I was seeing could not get it to the color I had been wanting to achieve. Carlos was amazing he understood immediately what I was looking for. We talked about the process and I left that day feeling better about my hair then I had in years. He has perfected it and it is better then I imagined. Everywhere I go I get compliments and I truly believe he is the most talented color stylist I have ever come across. He is friendly and knowledgeable in everything he does. Thank you Carlos as always you are amazing!

Lingy gave me the most gorgeous shade of purple I’ve ever seen! She was so kind and patient and spent hours with me to make sure everything was just right. I’m so excited to come back!

My service was with Tina when I arrived I asked her how much she would charge me and she said no more than 200 in the end she said 175 and I agreed, this is what I got for that money, the highlights were so thin That they hardly see, I don't know what color correction she did because my hair remained yellow at the ends, I never do reviews but when I got home and saw my hair it bothered me that I wasted my money.the girl was nice but she should have been clear about the job she would do for $ 175.

Charles did an amazing job! I came in with long hair wanting to chop it all off and was a bit nervous, but Charles understood exactly the look I was going for and took the time to make slight adjustments in the layers so that it turned out just right and I was so happy with the end result. Truly one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten!

Great atmosphere. I am new to the state and took a chance on Carlos. Blonde hair isn't easy to do correctly and He did a fabulous job! Glad to have a new salon!

First complaint was when I booked my
Appt the girl over the phone told me my hair cut and color would be around 120-140 total the guy that did my hair took the haircut off to help with that first issue - I was originally charged $246 -he had good customer service skills trying to rectify her mistake - but on the other hand I got my hair colored here and how are my roots not even done at all? I went in with two grey hairs and left with them! Biggest waste of money - I thought this salon looked like a chain when I walked in and I should have known - Not worth 200 for a color job that looks like this - and no I don’t want to come back to the same “colorist” to fix it - shouldn’t have been an issue -period!

Carlos is amazing! He made sure I was completely happy with my hair before I left. I’m very light blonde. My hair feels great. I also got keratin bond extensions and he blended them perfectly. Found my new hair guy️

Rick is AMAZING! I went day for my first appointment and I was afraid but ready for a change. I went from very blonde to the most perfect balayage! He was super personable, kind, and knowledgeable. He walked me through starting a healthy hair journey. Rick now has himself a forever client.

I Loved my experience here with Jay! He was so good! He made me very comfortable. Talked me through what we were going to be doing step by step. Didn’t let me leave until I was happy with my hair. Super knowledgeable and truly a joy to be around. I LOVEEEEE my hair, and already had so many compliments on it! 10 out of 10! Definitely will be returning!
