1Doesn’t read reports and go over them with you. Ordered the wrong follow up procedure to check for stones after surgery, resulting in not seeing that the stone was still there. Thankfully, I was educated enough to know that the procedure prescribed to check for the stone was not appropriate for the type of stone in my kidney. This doctor was trying to get rid of. His result was he thought it was gone and I insisted on the proper procedure to look for a uric acid stone. Which resulted in seeing is was still there. If this doctor would have read the reports on the type of stone I had he would’ve never ordered the incorrect follow up procedure. I dismissed him as my doctor by canceling future appointments because I did not have faith and trust in his care anymore. After dismissing Dr. Kumar, he sent me a letter of dismissal of his own just a cover his own incompetence.
