Every appointment has been on time unlike doctors in Ocala that seem to always be running late.

I have been to this hospital 3 times so far, for aneurism surgery including replacing my aorta valve. I am going back again next month for an additional aneurysm surgery. Highly gifted doctors and nurses here. Best hospital I know. Saved my life more than once. God bless them

My brother has been in the care of an amazing team of doctors, nurses and other staff who have been caring for him since July 24th. This place and staff are second to none. I can mention ten names but will refrain for fear of missing a single person. You all have been incredible. Thank you for your care and professionalism.

In May of 2023, my husband underwent open repair bypass surgery for an aortic abdominal aneurysm at this hospital. The nurses and other medical staff were all amazing and kind. The surgeon (s) are highly skilled and of the highest quality. The very best of the best. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional team of surgeons and the entire staff at this hospital.

My mom was hospitalized here for a few days. Our experience with the staff from the ER to the housekeeping staff was top notch. The nurses and assistants were very attentive and caring. My mom wanted for nothing if she called them they were there in a timely manner. We were very appreciative of all the doctors and everyone involved. The room was huge, family was encouraged to stay the night, the entire hospital was very clean, my mom reported the food was good. Thankfully, my mom had a positive outcome and is home.

Had a heart attack and then a by pass in February. My first appointment with my Cardiologist was in July. That is not right. Good doctor, lousy follow up.

On 7/11/23 Dr Hoh and his wonderful staff removed my brain tumor. Everyone was so caring and attentive! Julia and Danielle were great to me! I highly recommend Shands!

This is by far the best hospital I have ever been in! Dr's, nurse's and rest of staff are amazing. Rooms are really nice and they are private. They catered to every need I had. I highly recommend them.

Was told my son not 16 had to wait in waiting room cause of all the sick people so he could not go in his dad's room but to wave. And walked to waiting room on 6th floor a woman came out got her child took him in there not 16 and been back there in a room for over an hour. With a sign on door stateing no one under 16. Guess that rule only applies for certain people.

Could not ask for a better doctor n his team. 4 stars was due to day nursing staff. Having to wait over 1 hour for pain meds day 2 of major back surgery is unacceptable to me.

I couldn't ask for a better nursing staff for my father's stay in the ICU. Every single nurse on each shift went above and beyond for him and his comfort. Explained everything to me in detail I could understand. Thank you again!
