The experience I have with UF Health was amazing, from the Women’s Health in 3rd floor, my Obygne Dr. Beste and Dr. Hollingsworth and staff was very attentive/caring to my needs especially I am a high risk pregnancy that’s why Mayport Naval Hospital transferred my care to due preeclampsia from my 2 previous pregnancy & anemia. I can’t say thank you enough to all the staff of Labor & Delivery especially to Miss Joy & Miss Hannah; the nurses who took care of me the morning of my scheduled C-section procedure until bringing me to the postpartum unit. Dr. Sairam, Dr. Gallatin, the anesthesiologist Dr. Ianov & all the staff, the nurses in the postpartum unit Miss Latoya, Miss Britney, Miss Rebecca; thank you for taking care of me and my baby girl. I am forever grateful for the positive experience with all of you.

My wife delivered here. Terrible experience, no one ever knew what was going on, no one could answer questions. Most providers didn't even know basic information about the mother or baby. Air beds in the recovery ward have a fan that turns on and off all night, what s stupid design. Very few competent staff.

Literally the worst ER in Jax. I have had nothing but bad experiences here. This last time (last ever) I Took my pregnant girlfriend in for severe pain in her abdomen. You would think a pregnant woman in pain would be a priority. The wait time is beyond ridiculously unreasonable. It is in no way clean or sanitary. The staff is rude, unhelpful, uninformed, and not interested in the patients who come to them for help. I would rather take myself and my family to a hospital located under a bridge and ran out of a cardboard box, that has stray cats as doctors and mangy dogs as nurses. I pray the staff at this fake Emergency Room all experience the same exact situation as they provide to the unknowingly unfortunate victims who enter their hospital. I literally have pure hatred and contempt for UF Health ER. If you know me, and you read this, and you still go to this hospital, or support them in any way…. Then consider me dead to you. As I will consider you dead to me. This place is evil. I will not associate with it or anyone who does.

Was here today I had appointment with a cardiologist named Naji Maliki doctor he was ok it was the nurse I don’t know her name but she needs to go back to school to learn how to take blood from patience and not laugh when she put a alcohol pad when trying to get blood from me today I know I didn’t go to school to be in the medical field but I do know you don’t put a alcohol pad on top when you are getting blood from a patient you use a cotton ball no she did not use that and now my hold right hand is hurting really badly. See this is why I don’t like this hospital.baptist Hospital will never do something like this

If I could give this hospital no stars I would, my brothers nurses in the ICU are rude, and I feel like nothing is being done, to busy sitting in the hallways on their phone, I’m trying to get my brother transfered to another hospital because I feel like this place is going to kill him.

Reviews are abysmal for a reason. By far the worst ER in the city. And it's been this way for years. Well over a decade. Whoever is the head of this hospital should be ashamed and embarrassed. My mother in law came here, against my advice, and it was a horrific experience. Patients sitting throughout the hallway. Cups filled with urine sitting all over the place, not even exaggerating. There were filled urine cups sitting out in various places for hours. That includes the one belonging to my mother in law.

The staff was so rude and uncaring, including the ER doctor. She was very short tempered.

I would advise anyone to go anywhere else but here. This place is for gunshots victims. That seems to be their specialty. If you have any other issues, try a different facility. I've heard UF North near 295 is fantastic. Clean facility and great staff.

Also, do not try to get any dental services done here. It's completely disorganized. It takes forever for an appointment. And once you get one, it will likely be cancelled with no warning.

This place is a sick joke. There needs to be a complete overhaul. It's long overdue.

From the bottom of my heart, EFF THIS PLACE. I was scheduled to be induced on 1/19, they called and changed it to 9pm the next day with a few hours notice. 8pm the next day rolls around, they call and schedule it to midnight instead and actually told me to call them to "make sure I'm good to come in still" I want to blow a gasket. Everytime I've asked for a nurse to call me, never hear back from anyone. Worst care you are ever going to receive, I'm distraught I have to have my baby here.

On January 3rd I had my second hip replacement done I had my right hip done at St Vincent's but I had my left hip replacement done at UF health and it was an amazing experience. For one thing the anesthesiologist made sure that I did not wake up in any pain. When I woke up at St Vincent I was in the most excruciating pain and it took him about a half an hour to get it under control they never really did manage my pain very well at St Vincent. Once you have a really great experience it's easy to look back on the previous one and say oh maybe that wasn't so good after all. The nurses on my floor were absolutely amazing I got to know each one of them by name I want to give a shout out to Stephanie, Robbie, Scott and Caitlin and to the little girl that brought me my food and to the pre-op staff Terry, Anthony, Mario and the rest I wish I could remember everyone's names.everyone was just so sweet and nice and caring. I have been to three hospitals since I've lived here in Jacksonville over the last 6 years and this hospital is the best. I will never go to MEMORIAL again their nurses were terrible. The only nice person during my visit was the cleaning lady.
So in ending this I'd like to say that my experience at UF health was great my doctor was amazing my anesthesiologist and Dr Julie were the BEST EVER and all the nurses took really good care of me.if I ever have to go back to the hospital that's the hospital I'm going to. Thank you to everyone at UF Health downtown you made my experience great.
You're very appreciative patient.

I went to the emergency department of the hospital about 2 months ago. They took a CT scan and said nothing was found. Then they took my identity information. Only 1 CT scan and blood tests resulted in a total bill of 10,544.
Then they called me to the financial department of the hospital, told me to prepare documents, I filled out everything completely and submitted it.
They called me again and I went to the hospital again. As of today, I submitted the documents again. What I was told is that you do not benefit from this discount because you are a refugee. In the discount letter I received, it was a letter stating that those who come to the emergency department will be given a discount without being subjected to any discrimination.

I cannot meet my daily needs, I live at my friend's house.
Because of my discomfort, I went to another hospital again.

I was told that I had stones in my kidneys and I was treated. Now I am slowly recovering, but I cannot work or go to work.

The hospital constantly asks for documents from me and I gave all the documents.

I do not have a green card and I am not an American citizen. I am the child of an Armenian and Kurdish family who took refuge in your country and I took refuge in your country out of fear of being killed. I am a "Refugee" and I am a "human being" and I applied for asylum. Please call out to the owner of the UF hospital and the director of the hospital: Help me. I cannot pay this money and I am financially bad. I gave all the letters to the financial department of the hospital stating that I am poor. " I beg you to help me and erase that debt.
While I was dealing with my kidney disease, I prepared the documents for your hospital. I call out to the authorities, the hospital's policy that immigrants cannot benefit from discounts needs to be reviewed.
This policy of your hospital is an indication that I have been exposed to "RACISM".
The officer there was very polite and said that was the policy.
I am sad.
I would like this letter to be forwarded to the higher authority of your hospital and to be concluded.
I request a statement that immigrants cannot benefit from the discount. I want that "RACISM" sign, it's my natural right.
Solve this problem because I was dealing with paperwork while suffering from kidney pain. This negatively affects my health. Please help, best regards.

Wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this hospital they take advantage of a certain demographic at this hospital and had been doing it for years there’s a reason why this hospital is always THE LAST OPTION

This place needs to be closed. They have people all in the hallways, the place is just not worth going to at all.

If you're planning on having a baby here they don't have a plan for the fathers coming in and out of the building even if they are staying over, security hems you up even when you're just trying to get back into the room, no communication and I don't even know why the ask for my identification if after they write down my info they don't know who I am, I even have a wristband that they requested and they still act ignorant, went out for breakfast and couldn't get back in because the shift changed and the new guy said visitor's are not allowed in until 9, even the doctors are not on the same page, every time another nuser came in it was like we were here for another 12 hours, I understand that the baby needs to be cleared but clear communication of that is key, bad place for fathers of newborns.

Poor excuse for a hospital. My mom has to come here every 3 to 4 months for surgery. She's been having to go through the emergency room because of the type of issues she has and it can strike at any moment.she has to wait for 4 to 8 hours to be called back to a room! While in agony! Then when she gets a room, they leave her and not say anything! Then when they do, it's mis information from doctors to the nurses.not to mention the restrooms are nasty.urine all over the floors, blood on the waiting chairs and on the bathroom walls.this hospital really needs inspections by someone undercover.

No one knows what’s going on. Scheduled surgery days ago 3 days later, still waiting. Haven’t eaten in 24 hours waiting for surgery.
