Adopted my new puppy from Ufar about a week ago. She is perfect, I am so happy I found her, and I had a great experience with Ufar!

I heard about this wonderful little dog on Facebook. I filled out their easy but thorough paperwork out conveniently on line. I went to see him the same day. The very helpful and friendly volunteers at the shelter helped me visiting with him. They told me a little about him and what he is like in their experience. He loved the people that took so great care of him. I decided that I wanted to give this little guy a forever home. The interview followed where they made sure that I was the right person with the right home for the dog as well. It was a match and I went to pick him up that same day. They showed me a well detailed record of the dog since he was taken in by the shelter. All the vaccines and other medical records were given to me in a convenient package. It was a very easy process and the staff and volunteers were all so helpful. If you are thinking about getting a cat or a dog, I highly recommend you stop by UFAR Animal Rescue in Margate, where everyone cares about the wellbeing of all these wonderful animals that are looking for a forever home.

This weekend we adopted our precious baby girl from UFAR Animal Rescue. The entire process went smoothly from the adoption application, which was approved in less than 24 hrs. Debra was wonderful to work with and so helpful on all levels. The UFAR shelter in Margate has staff / volunteers that were amazing. Gelin was very attentive and comforting. Debra is wonderful; After scheduling the virtual home visit, he explained the process to us in detail and gave us some amazing recommendations for Luca. The process was easy and we were able to pick up Luca the same day we were approved. The workers are incredibly friendly. I admire and appreciate the work they do. Do not adopt from here! The kitten we adopted, we were told it just had a rash when we asked about it, and after a vet visit, turned out to have ringworm, and coccidia. This kitten was with other cats and not quarantined at the shelter. After trying to call them about it to tell them, they’ve ignored my calls.

Great adoption process that was smooth but also thorough. From the staff answering questions and providing the answers that helped me, all the way until the end of the process which ended in me adopting my first dog! Thank you!

Went to go look at puppies and little Jupitor walked right up to us. The process was fast and the virtual home visit was easy and incredibly thorough. They messaged us to check on our new puppy and provided great service and great advice. Great shelter for rescuing you new family member! Lots of furry friends need a good home so check them out!

This rescue is absolutely amazing. They really care about their animals and it shows. From talking to Debra on the phone to visiting the rescue in person everyone was so nice and professional. Adopting a cat at this rescue was very easy. It is a little time consuming, but totally worth it. The owner and volunteers at the rescue are all so nice and they truly love every single animal there. I would definitely recommend this rescue if you are thinking about a new cat or dog.
