UHealth at Boca Raton

I had an appointment and twice the doctors assistant called to change the time, twice in separate occasions! They are unreliable, they push virtual follow ups, the doctors don’t even spend much time with you, I told my doctor I was feeling lethargic with headaches she said I was overweight. I am 175 and 5”4. It turns out I was severely deficient in Vitamin D and had an ear infection. I found this out because I went to another doctor that was willing to see me and cared about about my concerns. This place is cookie cutter, god forbid you need to see your pcp for an emergency there is no sense of urgency for the patient, I came in telling them I had a bad sinusitis they had no appointments for two weeks so they sent me to the Walgreens u Miami health and nobody had checked my ears during the examination. I could have had this ear infection resolved a month ago but instead I’ve been struggling when it could have all been resolved. It’s just horrible for people. Modern doctors don’t care about the patient and I never felt like the staff in this facility cared about me.as I was in the receptionist asking about the chances of me getting to see my pcp because of my sinusitis there was an elderly couple barely could walk and they asked if they could make an appoinment and the receiptionist dismissed them right away and said someone will contact you, the people said, sometimes we don’t hear the phone and we don’t want to miss it, to then the guy receptionist replied, we can’t book one for you you have to wait for the call. These people are elderly! It was SICK to watch the laziness of these employees and lack of compassion in the healthcare industry! I will NEVER go back to use U Miami Health Boca Raton FAU rd I am 100% a lost customer for ever! And I don’t want my family to get this type of service!

This place is a mess. It’s hard to reach anyone by phone and nothing is organized.

Dr Lay is Amazing! I have had a number of issues for years & finally switched to her from a previous primary. I sat with her and had a discussion. 1 by 1 she listened and came up with a plan of action. She never rushes you, always addresses each on of my concerns and never brushes anything off. I am so happy to have found a primary dr that actually works with me and has the desire to assist me with all my health concerns!

Extremely disappointed in my first visit as a new patient. Had blood work a month ago and no one ever called, emailed or texted results to patient. Absolutely NO follow up. Also waited in room after exam almost 30 minutes for someone to draw my blood. Finally they insisted I pay a copay which I did not owe. Now I am fighting to get it refunded. Waiting on long holds, calling for status and only getting the run around. Shame on them. Would not recommend at all.

Incredible office staff & medical professionals. I always feel valued and that the environment is clean.

The worse experience at the cardiologist for my 1 year old and they charged me over $300 to see the doctor for 30 minutes and $65 for a ekg that their website estimated to cost $20. Their customer service is unhelpful and don’t care. Don’t bother going here.
