Ulta Beauty, Gainesville FL

Today was my first time ever stepping foot in this establishment and my shopping experience was not as pleasant as I expected it to be. Two store associates walked past me and didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was standing there in need of help to purchase perfume. The Customer Service is just not there, but that's my opinion.

This is the first I’ve ever had to complain about an ulta after shopping here for 10+ years. There was a line for checkout and FOUR cashiers behind the checkout counters. One was busy helping customers, one looked like a manager and was rummaging through drawers (doing things and at least busy) while the other two employees stood having a personal conversation about their hair for 15 minutes without bothering to help the line. LIKE HELLO! Maybe have this conversation in between customers? Like I’m not standing here to check out just to listen about how Brenda with the bad lashes needs to bleach her hair. AND WHY DID THE MANAGER NOT SAY ANYTHING? !? Until finally the ONE person actually helping customers asked the other two to take the line. And these two employees really had the nerve to then stand at the registers AND STILL FACE AWAY TO FINISH THEIR CONVERSATION before checking us out. Rude as all get out. Will never be coming to this location again.

Best products and customer service. Great prices and rewards too. It's a must in beauty health! Keep up the great customer service and products. Thanks for coming to Gainesville!

Ulta is a joke. Never brought out curbside order or answered the phone when I called them since I had been waiting so long. I called guest services and they were useless as well. Don't waste your time and go elsewhere. I ended up leaving without my order since I couldn't get any assistance.

Lauren was so amazing and informative on products to help with skincare. Thank you lauren for going above and beyond for me. Your customer service was 20/10.

Needed to make an exchange at Ulta Beauty. Exchange was easy, though every.single.time. I shop in this store there is a line - though there are very few customers in the store. The exchange was necessary because my sweet husband bought me a bottle of fragrance for Valentines Day and, although it was the right perfume, it comes in several different scents. He didn’t know this and got the wrong one. Never fear, he asked for help and was taken to that fragrance, but never told there are 3 varieties. I also needed two hair products and they carried neither. It seems the reps need more training and there should be more of them.

Paulette was an absolute angel! Not only did she communicate each step but she worked with my texture to create a healthy and fun experience for me. I absolutely adore the color she gave me and I enjoyed the experience. Additionally, it was very low cost and she was considerate of my time when working on my hair. I 100% recommend her!

I recently moved to Gainesville and struggled to find a good salon for my hair, until I found Ulta Beauty and the best stylist Tabatha. She saved me and my hair both times for a keratin treatment and highlights. By far one of the most talented, professional and humble stylist I've ever had. My hair finally looks beautiful and exactly what I wanted!

Had a gift card and the cashier scratched off the PIN so that it's not legible. I have been waiting almost 30 minutes for a manager to issue a new card or fix the issue.

Shoutout to LAUREN! She saved me! I had my makeup done there and it turned out terrible, but lauren threw me in an isle chair and saved my face. I had an awesome birthday and received many compliments. Thank you Lauren. She even gave me a hug. Truly a gem. Put her in the salon!

Ana does not need to be working in customer service. Could not be more rude, complete opposite of any experience I have ever had shopping at Ulta for a decade.

Courtney at store 570 in Gainesville on Newberry road omg she was so nice even though the store was busy she handled myself and a couple other customers very well giving me all the advice and recommendations I needed she didn't crowd me but kept checking on me and when I needed she came through thank ypu so much! She is great!

I could not Love this salon more. Mylinna does an EXCELLENT job on my hair. The atmosphere is so fun. Great salon all around!

Liked it the girls in their weren't pushy or anything like that they helped me very much I liked it you should go and shop Ulta.

I have to GUSH about the ladies here! They were all SO welcoming and helpful on my wedding day. Blake came in SUPER EARLY to make sure my bridesmaids and mom could get their hair/makeup done as well! They made me feel beautiful and attended to. Everyone there was helping and I can't remember everyone's names! But I appreciate you! Thank you guys SO MUCH! <3

Blake was my stylist for a second time and does awesome color and gets exactly what I am looking for.

I've booked and confirmed hair appointments twice now, and both times, on the morning of, they've called and told me I have to reschedule. I understand things happen and clients take longer than expected, but today, it was "corporate is making us close early today and we really don't know why. What other day works for you? " The staff seems very unprofessional, and they don't give good customer service. Seems like no one who works there even knows what's going on. I'll definitely be taking the drive to Ocala for my appointments.

Destiny was amazing. Took care of my eyebrows and had me laughing throughout the process. Highly recommend.
