More jokes from the USPS. Had something sent to me at my address here in FL, said being held at post office per customer request. Never requested. Went in to pick it up, was rudely told its not there and she can't help me. Where is my package? Do yourself a favor and deal with a different post office.

Wish I could leave zero stars for this usps postal employee, She made me move over to an unused opening while she waited on everyone else and apologized to them though they had only been waiting 2 min, I sat there while she waited on 4-5 customers as she gleefully ignored me though I had a pressing problem that I explained to her and she decided to ignore, Female, mid 30s-40s black curly hair, I will never understand the underlying lack of customer service and haughty attitude, Very distressing and stressful. No heart, no soul!

Problem with getting mail sent to a forwarding address. Sent in a request to have our mail forwarded to a temporary address in CT however, still being delivered to the old address in FL. Received conformation of change but not receiving our mail, Also, when you call this location no one answers the phone!

Brandie and Geneva are right! The only reason they are friendly, Garry, is because they receive that steady government paycheck while messing up our mail. You'd be friendly too if you received a pay check for doing nothing. They need to fire all the employees at that post office especially Mike that works the front counter, but they won't because their management sucks too. They couldn't manage to forward mail from a residence address to their PO box even though all the proper forms were filled out! When this was told to management, they acted liked I was inconveniencing them and I received no apology or anything. If you want sub-par customer service and fake smiles while employees don't do their jobs and mess up your mail that's your choice. But, I recommend you save yourself the headache and stress by going to the Post Office on State Road 70. It might be a further drive for you but it's well worth it. I never had an issue with any of my mail in the 6 years I went to the State Road 70 Post Office and customer service is stellar there.

If you only need Priority Mail and have a credit card, use the machine. It's open during the evening after the inside cashier is closed. Easy Peasy. No waiting during high COVID rate in Manatee County Christmas 2020. Plenty of supplies on the evening I visited.

What a wonderful staff! Lots of grumpy customers surrounded me today and your two stellar employees running the front were (as always) very efficient and kind! Many thanks to them and all of your hard working staff! God bless and happy Thanksgiving!

The staff has steadily been kind and helpful, for years. From Renee to Peter to Tina and Chris. You get to know them by name when you look them in the eyes and talk to them like human beings. It gets busy sometimes; sometimes that flusters some of the employees and causes anxiety—especially when the customers in line audibly and visibly show their frustration that others are doing the same thing they are, and equally have lives that intersect with their own. The bad reviews on here (or any other post office for that matter) seem to from over-privileged (mention how worldly you are much, bud?) and impatient people who use the post office seldom, then complain about it like it’s been their cross to die on since birth. Lost mail happens sometimes—they do what they can to fix it. Lines happen in densely populated suburbs often. A growing number of people visit the post office for their work and income every day. The counter is not your work space. Be more prepared when you arrive and the post office won’t be a problem for you. No I don’t work for this or any post office.

This has been the worse post office that I have ever in my entire life worked with. 3 times delivered important mail to the wrong address. Three times have not held mail while we were away when supposed to. Delivered when not supposed to. I have complained to the manager and once again return from 9 days away and no mail at the post office. Now we need to track it down again. We stated that WE would pick it up because we don’t want it all going to the wrong address! This is beyond incompetent! To boot.they don’t answer their phone at the office. I would not even give it one star.
*update. The postal worker had mistaken this time telling us there was no mail. The manager found our mail. This still was a stressful situation. This post office needs to work on their staff.

The postal crew works hard at being kind and polite in every way! It's a very nice experience to go here, I appreciate their hard work to make us happy

The post office at this location is fairly good and usually busy. The person responsible for delivering mail to my home address is, however, as incompetent as I've ever seen. She is constantly putting mail in the wrong boxes and is often heard cursing aloud to someone on her phone.

Horrific service and incompetence, after just 6 weeks they lost my third paycheck sent to my PO Box.

Nearby Cortez post office managed to do the exact same, also within a short time.

Both the Palma Sola and the Cortez post offices have me now searching for a reliable private carrier in the area.

I have only mentioned the tip of the iceberg here and USPS do not seem to be able to bring these miscreants to heel.

I am international, with 25 years in USA and twelve of those in nearby Sarasota county at five different addresses.

Since moving to West and lately NW Bradenton its been like living in a third world country.

Actually, despite 33 years also spent in third world countries, I have never experienced this.

The worst post offices in living memory, right here in a first world country.

The positive reviews here are suspect. Take the first three, which are the last here, do you see a pattern in them? One per year, each 5 stars and no narrative.

I drop off a LOT of packages at this location daily- they do a great job of keeping their package acceptance bin clear and have never lost one! In addition, Renee and Tina have always gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, even at the most difficult times. Hats off to these two special ladies and the rest of the crew, you are appreciated more than you know!

Absolutely worst post office ever. They do not help you at all and have a horrible attitude. The teller made me hold a 60 pound box rather than set it on the counter. Weighed the box and gave a price for it to be mailed and then changed the price to $50 more after the paperwork was filled out. I’ve never experienced an employee yelling at a customer before. It’s worth paying more to send mail by Fedex and UPS.

Today, the POSTAL TELLER (at the first window on my left) open 20 minutes early and gave me the box I came to pick up. He was cheerful and expedient and got my day off to a great start!
