United States Postal Service, Homestead FL

Had been coming here for a while, the employees are straight up RUDE.they have terrible attitudes and are just not nice people and they shouldn't be in customer service, let alone working at a govt facility. You ask to borrow a pen, they will tell you NO with an attitude but the next day you'll watch them lend it to someone else with a smile. And they will scold you if you forget something and ask to borrow it. I'm not sure if it's a race thing because I'm not the same race, or what it is but I dreaded having to come here. I am a small business owner and i asked them to specifically not cover up my business logo when putting on the shipping label, they just sucked their lips at me and did it anyways. They would just give me a hard time every time i came in. Now the really pretty Hispanic woman with the red hair and the new Hispanic guy they recently hired are super nice and helpful and they don't treat you like you're worthless. I would actually be treated with decency and respect when i came in after they were hired and I hadn't seen the other women at all after that. I don't know if they fired the other women but I hope they did because they were HORRIBLE.

Ok. I dont usually rant but I have to say this. The USPS are a bunch of liers. I'm not just saying this as a matter of opinion. My packages today was marked with this "Your item is being held at the HOMESTEAD, FL 33034 post office at 6: 36 pm on January 2,2020. This is at the request of the customer. " We were home all day and never did we request the item be held. Think it's a simple mis scan? Nope. Previous packages have been marked business closed. IM NOT A BUSINESS! Also a packages will be marked delivered and I won't actually see it for 3 or 4 days. Amazon needs to stop using the post office! Until they do, Amazon is no better than the post office. Numerous complaints to Amazon and the post office over 3 years have fallen on deaf ears. I have spoken to the station manager personally and still nothing changes. This tells me one thing. THE POST OFFICE DOSENT CARE ANYMORE. Do I have a goal? Driver delivered package to wrong address so I went to office in Florida City two times and they still failed to call me and fix my issue terrible management terrible service I hate usps worst service worst employees worst company ever!

Front desk ladies always very nice, helpful and they do there best to help everyone as best they can.

Been here a few times, because I have a P. O.box there. Slow service. Poor customer service. Always have delivery issues. Had items delivered on Thursday, but they still hadn't sorted the packages out by Saturday morning. Told me to come back after 10am and check again. Worst post office I've ever been too. At least it's clean!

Opens at 8: 30 am all you hear is people laughing joking in the back while the line builds up. No one is at the front but you can hear employees gossiping in the background

I had ordered AirPod and I received a broken empty box. This is unacceptable. They should replace their staff because always there is something wrong with them.

This place has lost my mail so many times. No one ever fixes the mistake or take blame for what they do. They have not been nice when you talk to them on phone or in person. I have had overnight mail lost many of times when going through here someone needs to hiring employees that actually want to do their job right.

I had to go to this post office today and I was skeptical because of all the bad reviews on here BUT, I was treated so well and the wait time was about 5 minutes. Valerie helped me and she was wonderful. I recently moved to the area and I haven’t received mail in over 15 days. Valerie was so kind and so helpful. She even called the mail man (on his cell phone) who does the route of where I live asked him about my mail issue. Problem solved:) Thank you so much Valerie!

Most horrible experience 30 min waiting and nobody was helping us, big line, I always came and it’s like that but today surpass anything. Only one person at the counter

I currently live in Homestead Florida, my post office carrier Mr Tony Sanducci is a great addition to USPS. His work ethics are critical and should be an example to other USPS carriers. He never misplaces packages, mailboxes and surrounding areas are always cleaned. Packages are never late or manhandled. On his off days, my packages are sometimes left at other residents porches and the mailboxes would be dirty. He is doing a great job and it is evident he takes pride in his job. Hopefully USPS gets more employees with his integrity.

I came here hesitating because it had only 2 stars but service was great, place is clean and plenty of parking space, signs everywhere so you don’t get lost. I had a few questions and needed help, post lady was very attentive and helpful. Oh and no line!

Even before the pandemic, this post office branch is a joke. If you go in the lobby, be prepared to wait for at least an hour. They usually only have one employee behind the desk. And the mail delivery? OMG, anther joke. My carrier is famous for marking a parcel as "delivered, " yet it never makes it to my front door or mailbox. I have recently gotten parcels for other people (sheer laziness oy the carrier), so they may have given my package to someone else. And don't bother calling the branch because they never - ever - answer the phone. If all of this had been since the pandemic, I would not be writing this. But it has ALWAYS been bad, and I have had the same address for fifteen years.

The Post office personnel are always very helpful and courteous. My biggest complaint that on Saturdays you should have more than one employee behind the counter. The last three times I have been there, only one employee behind the counter and at least 6 to 10 people in line. It’s not fair to the employee as well as to the customer.

Idk who died & told black ppl it's okay to look down to another but I feel like talked at & not to my apologize if I do not remember this women's name but she was beyond rude this isn't the first time. Although the gentleman who originally starting helping me was amazing I left & decided to go to the other post office where I had a pleasant experience. Next time I'll just go to UPS OR FEDEX btw I'm always losing packages or there giving it to the wrong apts.
