I had ordered an item from Facebook for my upcoming vacation. The item was coming from somewhere in China. When I got my confirmation for my order, I noticed my package was going to be shipped to the wrong street address. I attempted numerous time to contact the sender to correct the error, to no avail! My package made it to the Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch FL Post Office and had been labeled as “address not found (no kidding) waiting for verification before attempting delivery” I went to the post office at Lakewood Ranch to see if there was anyway they could find my package. I worked with James B. Even though my China Express tracking number was useless to him, he went in search of my wrongly addressed package. James came back after a short while WITH MY MISSING, WRONGLY ADDRESSED, PACKAGE. James was so kind and helpful, he went above and beyond searching through Hundreds maybe thousands of undelivered packages to find mine!

The workers there work quick to get you in and out. The black clerk made me laugh out loud when I came in there just to buy 1 stamp. It’s the post office, of course there are long lines, you can’t have everything your way.

I have had zero issues with this USPS location. They do what they are supposed to do and are quick to help.

NExt day delivery guarantee is a joke! 2 days later paying for next day delivery guarantee and the package is still at the location sent!

Costa Rican front counter rep is great. Black male manager, his older white male associate, and black female manager are very rude and won't even look customers in the eye and cut off one customer after a minute by lying it had been 5 minutes (as if that mattered), while people in line knew it was a lie. Sad.

Gave them a box with to and from addresses on a post it and they told me they “don’t print labels” and refused to ship my box so I just did it online at home. Waste of time.

To those posting "this place isn't that bad, " i raise you this: I'm autistic and no one here would even help me with tape. I have terrible anxiety going into stores, into banks, into anywhere, into especially post offices, where there is literally no one there willing to help you. I was having a particularly difficult day and went into the post office alone without my Person (my caretaker, a friend, or a support person examply) and I could not for the life of me figure out how to unwrap the tape or get it to come off and I asked for help several times, to which no one would, and despite my frustration I managed to tape my box and I brought it up to the front, only for them to let me know that I used the wrong tape. This was SO overwhelming and ridiculous. I literally left and just cried on my way home and it has been months and I never mailed my package! Thanks for the help lakewood ranch post office ️

I am both a business and residential customer of this location. I respect the postal workers but this branch consistently underperforms and Braden River PO puts them to shame. My Dad had 30 years at the main branch Phila 30th St back in another time when the PO could be counted on, depended on. Rain, sleet, or snow meant exactly that. 10: 30 box mail is a disgrace, way too late - and even then it rarely is on time. Residential delivery is a disgrace. Packages left 150 yards from the house because the driveway is too long for them to make the effort. Nice branch, service that is badly in need of an overhaul.

Mail for Greenfield Plantation is being delivered later and later every day mail came at 5: 15 pm today REALLY!

Every visit is a big disappointment unless I use the self serve kiosk which is the best option. The clerks consistently skip your ability to receive email receipta by clicking through options behind their plexiglass screen. They don't speak so you don't have a chance to ask for it and it's their way IMO of making their job easier and faster at the expense of the customer. Can't track w/o paper receipt.and who uses paper anymore anyway? Frustrating when you send numerous things via tracking. Also had an issue with them consistently mailing to wrong address due to oversight of the letter E as in east in my address. Spent 45" talking to a "manager " who was too incompetent to understand and though I was kind and patient the woman walked away saying I will be right back and after 20 minutes never came back. Completely stupid you can't correct your system for accurate government issued address!

The other reviews aren't lying. Sometimes customer service is okay, but usually workers at the counter are pretty miserable. They enforce policies very strictly and aren't forgiving at all when you accidentally ship something slightly overweight (I'm talking a fraction of an ounce) or use the wrong tape or box or something. I've had to wait in very long lines and have seen people park on the grass because the lot was full. I'm glad that the lobby stays open 24/7 so I can drop off my prepaid packages while avoiding the chaos during the day. However, the drop box often gets jammed, and even though I can hear employees shuffling around in the back room, no one comes out to fix it. Also, their mailmen have a habit of losing only my most important mail. Multiple gift cards from family, prescriptions, and even the title to my car have all been lost by these guys. Overall I get the feeling that since this is LWRs only main post office, the employees here are overworked and have since stopped caring about quality.

Not sure why all the bad reviews, I always have nice customer service, they are polite, and as efficient as possible. Sometimes there is a long line but not always and not their fault, as no other convenient post office nearby in LWR. My only complaint is the hours open at 9am and close at 5pm Mon-Fridays means impossible to get there to mail a box if you work, unless can go Sat 9am-12 noon which I very much appreciate that you are open, but unfortunately I forgot to check until 1pm what the hours are on Saturdays so it is closed now. Can you stay open one day a week until 6pm as that would help working people? I don't get all the complaints here, have used them for the last 8 years, no problems, nice people, clean open lobby area, can drop boxes off in the cart and not wait. Not their fault everyone comes at lunchtime or in December for Xmas present mailings which cause long lines at times.

Just wanted to pick up a package that they couldnt deliver even though my front door is 45 secs from the box. Waited through a line that was out the door only to be told to wait in another line. Literally twenty five minutes of waiting, having been asked "have you been helped" replying "no" and the lady just turns and walks away, I was able to just pick up a simple package. Ridiculous.

Poor customer service, waited 30 minutes for the supervisor to come out and release my package. Not customer friendly facility. Needs front counter personnel training

The problem with this post office is they service 1000s of business and people in the area. From 11am to 1pm you may have lines 20 to 30 people deep. Many times the lot is so full people park on the street.

I admit I wasn’t diligent going to the mailbox at the apartment complex I live in. Majority of my mail is unwanted junk mail. Now they are not delivering my mail at all. Certainly this time of year I should be receiving some. Isn’t this failure to deliver mail tampering and against federal law?

Post office failed to put on proper postage and my family in HI got slapped with a $145 postage due bill.

If it was possible to give this post office zero stars I would.
Not only does it have the nastiest counter peesonal ever, they refuse to answer their phone of you need to call.
No wonder why the postal service is always in complete financial failure.
If this was a REAL business these people would be out of a job and replaced with ones that are not shielded by government policies to award laziness and bad attitudes!

I went to cash a Postal Money Order this afternoon 8-10-2021, and as soon as it was my turn to go to the window I presented My Money Order and my ID and the first thing out of the Teller Mouth was I don’t have enough to cash it then I was sent to a 2nd window and the lady to the same thin too. This is to the first time I am so sad that this is happening. I hope this issue is Resolved.
