This place pretty much refused to process MILITARY CARE PACKAGES from a local elementary school. Our students put together 10 care packages to ship to our overseas military bases and when I went to have them shipped I was told I “needed to make an appointment” and the man wrote down the post office number as well as Robin’s cell. When I called to make this appointment, Robin informed me that not only could I not make an appointment but they don’t have time to process 10 packages. The best she could offer was for me to bring the packages in at 7: 30 on a Wednesday morning to be dropped off with my CREDIT CARD and if they could get them processed throughout the day they would. And I could pick up my credit card and receipt at the end of the day. I have never heard of such insanity nor been treated so rudely and poorly. And all I wanted to do was ship a few care packages to our military for a kindergarten service project. We chose to ship them from the Winter Springs post office without an “appointment” or any notice at all and were treated so kindly. Avoid this Oviedo post office at all costs.

The woman at the desk was so rude, literally refused to print me a label bc my package wasn’t taped.i brought it back taped and she just pointed her finger at me and said no… would not recommend going here if you can help it.it felt like she reallly didn’t want me to send my package lol and the self service machine didn’t work to print a label

I have had numerous packages of mine delivered to my neighbors and it’s becoming aggravating. I have received multiple of my neighbors’ packages, including personal legal documents like divorce papers that should be kept private, and have had to deliver them myself. It is not only awkward for me but for my neighbors as well. Messing up one or two times is understandable but this is ridiculous. The house numbers are both on the house and right on the front of the mailboxes!

Robin is the rudest employee I’ve ever encountered. I have an online business so I ship hundreds of packages every month and I know postal rules. I went into this office because a box of children’s chapter books was returned to me stating that it wasn’t media mail. It’s the pure definition of media mail so I simply was talking to the guy at the counter, showed him the contents and wanted them to re-mail it exactly as it was. The other employees are decent people and understanding. Robin talked about me like I was a criminal and that I wasn’t standing in the room where I could hear everything she was saying. She accused me of putting something else in the box and was incredibly rude. She is the epitome of a “bad apple”. She is a toxic presence at USPS. I was able to mail the package just fine no thanks to her.

Poor customer service. Very rude. Also I informed them that I keep getting other peoples mail and lots of my mail go lost in the past including sensitive information. This should not be an issue. Whoever is sorting the mail at my the Villas at Lake side needs to pay attention and ensure that the mail goes to the right person. It is very frustrating.

After waiting forever in a line almost out the door I start walking up the the clerk lady (didnt her get name) but she was immediately rude and and being oppositional. I did have a long tube (shipped a fishing rod). But she immediately said its over the limit. I ship them a lot and I do get a little "we need to measure it" type of thing but this lady was treating me like an enemy not a customer. I already had a QR code but she still went through Measuring it, i tried to help but she was trying by herself and struggling. Finally she says its (something crazy like 220 inches lol) i think she was doing centimeters or something. (It was well within 130" max, even within 108" Priority mail limit). She then starts answering a different clerk's customer stuff and almost ignoring me. Finally she got another clerk to measure and it was 94" long x 2"x2" (98") and she still says computer isnt letting it approve the size. Now the line is even longer behind me. Eventually she says well he has qr code so they'll probably just return it to you. Prints label and hands me receipt knowing i have another (normal size) package so finally got that done too. I get they need to make sure things are within limits but why immediately be rude and on the defense? Literally giving the customer a hard time instead of helping assist. I get its not a common item/package it's just the attitude and rudeness. I dont live in the area anymore anyways, just happened to be and figured id ship the items before most PO close at noon but i will absolutely never go there again. (I know, who cares).

Robin was very rude. I got in not knowing which envelope to use so I stood in the line a little then thought it's better to just ask that quick question of which envelope
to use instead of standing in the line twice, once for asking and once to mail the document. I waited for the customer to be done then asked Robin if I should use a different envelope than the one I was holding she said yes we have one here behind the counter. I asked her if I can have it now then I would get back to the end of the line. Robin rolled her eyes and kept apologizing to people around me as if I was wasting her time. She finally pushed the envelope on the counter without saying a word while she served the other customer. Very unprofessional and rude. There must be someone that is around in the office to answer people's questions, not everyone know what to do inside a postal office. That specific location has plenty of employees or at least the time I was in. Hire someone who is patient and hospitable, it was only 10: 50 in the morning!

This postal office makes me wish the USPS would just collapse already. I’m so tired of getting piles of junk mail every day but not the items I actually order. Every single thing I’ve tried to have delivered to my house has ended up getting picked up at the post office because they’re totally incapable of making a package delivery. Everything from medication to records has been stolen or lost or misplaced. I wish they had an internal blacklist and would just reject every piece of mail with my name on it because frankly I’m sick and tired of dealing with the USPS.

I have a bald middle age man throwing my $1000 packages every time I go in. Ask for someone else if you get him. Besides that the place is great.

I used to think that one guy was just having a bad day, but after going 10x you realize he's always having a bad day.

I get it, you don't get paid to smile and be nice. Customer service isn't a fun job and everyone knows less than you do about the mail. When I want to feel particularly bad about myself, I can always count on that one guy to be there. Just hit him with any question about your package and he'll give you his most condescending answer. Bonus points if your an older southern person (too slow) or young female (too dumb), or if you go after work before closing at 5 pm (because that's the only time you can), and he'll really sprinkle the salt in for you.

I went to Winter Springs USPS recently and it was a whole other experience. It was amazing! Answering questions kindly, actually taping up packages for paying customers. A smile and goodbye! Am I dreaming? Is this what Mr. Rogers was talking about all this time?

2023 is the year for self-love. Do your self a favor and drive out of your way for a better 10 minute experience.

I really don't understand why some people complain that much about this place. This is the USPS that I use for a little over 8 years and never had a single problem with it. In the meantime I had a PO box there as well. Everyone working there were always very gentle and helpful.

Love this post office. I drop lots of packages off and they are always scanned in within a few hours and depart before end of day, unlike many Orlando locations I've been too. I really appreciate everyone that helps run this location!

I was charged a late fee. It was there fault. The supervisor told me that they don't do refunds nor credit.
