United States Postal Service, Vero Beach FL

Waited in line for 30 minutes at 10: 00 this morning just to try to pick up a package because they left a slip in my P. O. Box. After waiting for 30 minutes, I approached the man at the far right of the counter and asked if we had to stand in line if we were just picking up. He looked at his coworkers and said, “No one is here working today. So you’re gonna have to wait. ” I didn’t have time so I left. At 4 p.m. I came back and approached the same gentleman because he’s the first one there when you walk in. I said, “Excuse me” and he turned his head to ignore me. I said, “Excuse me” again but louder and he looked at me and I said “I just wanted to know if someone had come in yet to help with pickups? ” He said in a very ill and almost shouting tone, “No one is here to get your package. If you want it you have to get in line! ” The only reason I asked was because I receive all of my mail to my P. O. Box. I’m a social media influencer so it’s safer. I receive packages every week and every time I come in, someone is there to specifically help the people who are only there to do pick ups so we don’t have to wait in line. I understand his frustration but I was frustrated too, yet I was still polite and did not deserve his rude attitude. It’s the holidays, as someone working customer service he should be more kind even if he doesn’t want to be at his job. It’s sad to see someone have the same nasty attitude at 4pm that they had at 10 am. If that’s how I will be treated for no reason, I will not be renewing my P. O. Box at this office smh

Whoever delivers to 16th Ave 32962 must have been feeling lazy today or something. They forced a priority box into the mailbox to the point that I have to cut the box apart to get it out because when I tried to pull the box from my mailbox the entire mailbox came up from the post. Granted the nails are rusted but come on… It’s only a few few to the front door.

Don't deliver packages when they don't feel like it. Took it to the post office "At the customer's request". Definitely did not request that. Never answer the phone.
