They’re always friendly when I’ve visited. I’ve been coming here for a few years and actually drive a bit further to come to this location as the one on 77th St has a grumpy employee. It’s especially important to go to a happy post office like this one during Christmas — they’re cheerful and patient with people.

Smaller office, and always pleased with the service I have gotten there. I have used this location for 16 yrs. I've always gotten great service from them. My favorite post office in St Petersburg!

I am seriously disappointed. This is now the fourth time I have been given the wrong key for a very important package. No one even bothered to re-check the keys to make sure they are labeled correctly, which they are not. I was given the wrong key for a fourth time. This will now have to be my fifth time calling the office and possibly my third time going inside just a pick up a package. Fix your keys or your carrier!

The 50-60 year old gray haired man who works at the desk is not only incompetent but very rude. I had the proper legal documentation to change my minor son's address and he just didn't know how to do it. One of the first things he said to me is that he didn't know my son existed. I had multiple legal documentation showing my son on it. One signed by a judge. Then he kept saying "I don't want to perjure myself" over and over. It was stupid and rude. He continued saying this. I think he just wanted me to leave. I read him the information I received in the email from USPS. The information is also on the USPS website. He just kept saying this like I was trying to do something illegal. People in line could hear him. I think he was trying to embarrass me. It was ridiculous. I asked him what they did for people with a power of attorney since he couldn't figure out how to do it for a child. He mentioned a form but did nothing nor look at the form. He did not get a supervisor to help him. This went on for a few minutes. His supervisor/a woman the same age with shoulder length hair happened to walk by and that's when he asked for help. He STILL kept saying he didn't want to perjure himself. She did not correct him. She didn't really know how to do it but managed to, thankfully. Afterwards he asked how old my son was and then very sarcastically said "Oh then he gets a lot of mail. " He was seriously rude till the end. His supervisor did correct him and said kids do get mail. Obviously I wouldn't be doing this with this rude man if my son didn't get mail. He needs to be retrained on procedures and social skills.

The worker Lisa is the rudest woman I’ve ever dealt with. Moved here about a month ago and have never had issues getting packages delivered to my previous apartments. We were told to come in and have them switch the apartment to display our name in the system. Instead Lisa looked at us and acted like we were dumb for not taking a slip of paper and sticking it into our mailbox with our names on it so they knew we lived there. Never heard that one before. Definitely don’t recommend coming here if you can help it.

I think everyone is always very nice and personable when I go. Way better than most post offices. My packages track pretty fast.

The carrier won't deliver packages to my apartment complex, despite our complex having many parcel lockers on site. He will leave a note saying lockers are full, but they are unused. My apartment manager reports that they know this is going on. Furthermore, when I go to pick up the package at the post office, the clerk tells me they have in the past returned-to-sender all packages from a particular complex to force that complex to hold parcels in their office for resident pick up. She stated they will start to do the same to our complex. The carrier has also marked packages as delivered that were never delivered, and I had to reorder my items due to their insistence that they placed it in my locked mailbox. I am now hesitant to order packages, even from Amazon, because the last leg of the trip is often USPS. In person, they are extremely unpleasant to deal with, and the clerk comes across like I am to blame for living in an apartment, and that I am inconveniencing them by placing orders at all. They won't answer the phone at all, so each time I have a problem I am forced to go there to sort it out. I've never experienced this at any other post office in the area. Avoid this one at all cost if possible.

I have never had a problem with shipping packages until today. There is a heavy set woman with short hair who works there who is extremely rude and refused to ship a package because it didn't have "enough" tape on it despite it being completely sealed around all edges. First time in 5 years of me shipping items the exact same way that someone has had an issue with it.

Edit: I went right down the road to another USPS and they had no problem shipping the package; avoid the Gandy USPS if possible.

The substitute carriers just lay my mail on the ground in front of my door instead of opening the box and sliding it in. I live in a condo complex so anyone could take this. The office doesn't answer their phones.

Lisa was extremely rude to my fiancé. We are new to the area and just moved into a new apartment. Our package wasn’t delivered and was held at the carrier. When we went to pick up the package, lisa was mean and had such an attitude.she said “are you kidding me? All because YOU couldn’t use fetch!? ” And said “it’ll be awhile” while visibly bothered. We didn’t know we were supposed to use fetch. This place needs better customer service.

Having a problem with a package delivery. I spoke with Customer Service. They submitted a service request and advised me to call USPS on Gandy. I have been calling since 8: 30am. No one has answered the phone. Poor customer service!

As others stated here, staff rude unwelcoming, and unaccommodating. Go-to another post office
