9This place my mom died they never called me she has been dead for nine months I called so many time left my number my kids did too she never got a proper funeral they cremated her no I don't live in Florida i live in new jersey we don't know what happened there we are looking for answers
I would give this place zero stars. This facility is a place of elderly abuse. They do not fees the patients for days. I put my mother there, who has stage 4 cancer and after seing the conditions of that dump, I took her out after a day. They did not provide her the pain medication she needed, claiming that "she was not on the medication list" even though my mother was screaming with pain. This place should definitely be investigated and closed.
This place is an absolute scam. They aren't feeding the patients, but once a day. I have been here a few times to see it myself. The place is dirty and the patients are not being taken care of and they are complaining to me that they are hungry. Something needs to be done right away and staff members need to be replaced. I hope that someone that cares reads this and can help them
Impossible to call our loved one on the phone. It can take days of trying to get through. This time we finally got through to a rude male nurse after 2 days of trying to say Happy Birthday to a patient. He was not helpful either.
We must say that nurse Johnson is the best. If you could just hire more people like her we would all be pleased.
Try to call this place and ask for a Medication reconciliation form with regards to one of their clients - I have been trying to call for 5 hours straight today on a Saturday - how can you send a patient to a Acute facility without the proper documentation.
I always recognize how hard is do the job they are doing and how useful and human is. But the place is crowded, too much people in a few square feet. Besides, there's no easy load and drop patients there, the ramp is far away of the entrance and don't have a roof. What can we do if it is raining? Just get wet or soggy, depends.
I have nothing to say but wonderful things about Unity. This place brings smiles to the Residents faces. The Director of Nursing loves all the patients. I have personally seen her talking to the patients and even hugging them and comforting them. The director the building is available at all times. The admissions process to get my family member into the building was smooth. All in all this place is the best place for anyone's family if your looking for staff to treat your family like family.
La peste a orine y heces fecales en el segundo piso son insoportables. Mi amigo siempre esta sucio cuando llegamos a verlo, falta de aseo, hecho caca y sin lavarle la cara, siendo un paciente con paraplejia total.
Plague of urine and feces on the second floor are unbearable. My friend is always dirty when we come to see him, lack of toilet, done poop and without washing his face, being a patient with total paraplegia.
