Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites reviews
14Stayed there for one night to attend universal Halloween horror nights …the pillows/bed and sheets smelled so bad like mildew on all three beds.it was unbearable.really bad. We didn’t get to the room until 3 am otherwise we would have requested to change rooms but we were exhausted and we crashed. Had to shower the next morning because my skin smelled like mildew. Please don’t waste your money there.
Spacious location, a very interesting budget hotel. Great showers and beds, regular pillows. Good room size. The lighting typical of the American model, a little dark. Big TV. There was a clock in the room. Due to the size of the hotel, it always takes a few minutes to get in and out of it. The food area has plenty of options. There is no need to leave the hotel if you want to rest. The free transport to the Universal parks is very convenient, leaving every ten minutes in front of the hotel, just a few steps from reception.
Staff was not very helpful. Very Noisy, you could hear every room around you! Was awoken several times thru-out the night.
After having the room cleaned always smelled of raw sewage. Bad thing to smell after a long day at the park.
Hotel was clean and close to the park, and was a decent price. Downside is the toilet/shower area is tight, you have to step around the toilet to shut the door. Only 3 drawers for a room that should sleep up to 4 people, and only 1 set of outlets by the bed.
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are clean with limited but perfectly adequate storage for a vacation. We had adjoining rooms, which were perfect. Ideal location for shops, restaurants and theme parks, with the added bonus of early park admission.
Would highly recommend.
Clean rooms, food was great, shuttles to the park were clean and the drivers were friendly. All the staff without exception were so friendly and helpful! Wonderful experience.
We could hear our neighbors at times, but besides that we absolutely loved this resort hotel. Shuttles are easy to use, the food court has an option for everyone, and the pool area was awesome!
Great spot for the family. Rooms are spacious with access to the amazing pool and amenities. Hop on the bus to Universal and you're there in 5 minutes. Highly recommend!
Dockside was a nice hotel! Rooms were clean and I liked how they had disposable plates and bowls for your convenience. Had a lot of choices in the morning for breakfast. I enjoyed a big glazed donut with chocolate frosting and a milk. Only thing missing was a hot tub. Love a hot tub in the fall and winter.
Room was clean and had a great view of the pool. Best thing I can rave about was the food count. The food was good and the portion sizes were massive!
Clean, impeccable pieces. The transportation service to Universal parks is very comfortable.
Staff is friendly, professional and outstanding. Place is cleaned and well organized. We got one of the cheaper rooms but it had everything we needed and was clean and comfy. Free buses to park was huge plus especially for Halloween Horror nights since bus ran to close at 2 am. Pool was great as well and food was good and reasonably priced.
Staff amazing except in dining. They were not helpful and seemed annoyed when we asked about a peanut allergy. Side tables by bed in parents room way too small. And no drawers in parents room. Beds are hard. Overall a good stay
