Went there to get flat tire fixed put on the wrong type tube. He could have seen the tube I had before. Took it to another shop and they said that my rim cut into the valve stem and I shouldn’t have that type of tube. Waste of TIME AND MONEY!

Do not use this guy! When his Dad had the business it was a different story. This guy can't even change a tire properly. Asked to replace a tube and he put in a tube that was too small and it popped. Brought it back asked for my money back. He refused. He reluctantly replaced the tube and the tube popped again. He can keep the $22.00. I would never do business with him again, not recommend him to anyone. Follow up.brought my bike to Sarasota cycle. They repaired the tire that he incorrectly installed They balanced the wheel, adjusted the spokes, and filled up the other tire that was low at $2.00 less than what this guy charged me. And this guy offered none of that service to me. Go to Sarasota Cycle!

Fair price for tire repair and tuneup, good guy. I'll use this shop when I need more work done

Had my bike put together within the same week I called when everyone else told me at least 2 weeks before I could even drop it off. Also was super responsive and flexible with pickup and even took the extra time out of his free day to walk me through how to work everything and what I should do about maintenance. Will be back!

One star because there is no zero stars. Needed a rear wheel bearing repaired. Dropped off on Tuesday and told would be ready Friday. Friday, parts haven’t arrived and had to leave for a death in the family. Told Monday. OK. I drove all the way there after four days. Wheel was left outside without the quick disconnect that I dropped it off with. I had said that the bearing would need a race. He said no, just bearings. I got it fixed by a real bike shop and it did need a race. His quoted price was more than the price of the REAL bike shop with the bearing and the needed race and the NEW quick disconnect that I had to buy. Steer clear of this place.

These guys are awesome. They took the time to listen to my concerns and were professional and easy to talk with. Very knowledgeabe and priced fairly. Jeff took the time to keep me updated with the progress and details of what needed to be done. Very quick turnaround. Definitely highly recommend these guys.

Jeff and his son did a great job assembling two bikes for my wife and me. The job was done within one day, price was very responsible and the quality of the work was excellent.

So much better than the big bike store! We unsuccessfully tried to put together a new kids bike. I called a big bike store on university to see if they could fix the last step- the brake. They said they would need the bike for a week just to assess and figure out! A kids bike for a week! I called Jordan and he texted “come right over”! He looked at the bike- was willing to fix on the spot as a courtesy! Realized it needed a little more work, kept it over night and had it ready the next morning! UNIVERSITY BIKE GARAGE was easy to work with, paid with Venmo and now my kid has the coolest bike! Will absolutely recommend these guys to others and bring my other bikes in.

These guys are fantastic. The owner knows his stuff and took time speaking to me about my bike and what I should consider. I had a flat tire and then decided that a tune-up also made sense. The work was excellent, reasonably priced and slightly ahead of schedule. I'm incredibly happy with the work, the service, and how my bike looks and feels. I highly recommend University Bike Garage!

I took my bike to University Bike Garage yesterday to repair flat tires, do a tuneup and also to install a really comfortable seat. I had not ridden my bike for several years so it was dirty and the tires were very flat. I received a text from the owner today that my bike was ready for pick up. I really was astounded that the work was done so quickly and so well. He said I didn’t need new tires just inner tubes. He had thoroughly cleaned my bike do that it looked brand new and had installed a really comfortable new seat and all at a very reasonable cost. I very much appreciated his honest diagnosis of the work to be done, the thoroughness of the work and that it was done so quickly and at a reasonable cost! I highly recommend this company and will call them again if future repairs are needed.

We couldn't be more pleased to have found Jeff and Jordan at University Bike Garage. They fixed a flat for us and tuned up both of our bikes to like new condition. And they even washed them. I had no idea what color my bike used to be. You won't go wrong if you bring your bikes to these guys for repairs and maintenance.

I broke the valve stem on my road bike tire. I it took to one place who promised it would be done the next day. It wasn’t so I picked up and took it to Jeff. It was done on time as promised!

Jordan did a great job fixing both bikes at a very good price. I will definitely use University Bike Garage again.
