University Lofts, Tallahassee FL

I have stayed here for 2 years, first year was okay, staffs were okay so eventually i renewed but i wish i didnt. 2021 to 2022 staffs were great very accomodating. The recent staffs were horrible, they dont even know how to smile and not very welcoming except for maintenance people (they are always nice).
So heres what happened:
I totally understand that we need to pay an amount of 180 dollars for cleaning or leaving the unit, but in my case i paid twice. Manager at that time was stephen (a man with no word of honor) he was telling me that the first 180 dollars was a mistake and it will be removed from my account but it never happened. I was charged twice. He said i had to pay another 180 dollars for a damaged kitchen cabinet. The units are old, so be careful about getting a unit with them, they are going to charge you. A lot of things are falling off plus theres a lot of cockroaches.
Finally: they sent me my security deposit. There are missing numbers, so i asked them why i didnt get the full amount. No response from them until now i never thought i would write a bad review about this place. It was my home for 2 years, i wish they hire better staffs.

Terrible management and maintenance.
When I moved in my apartment was filthy. I’ve lost power more times at this place than I have in my life. We lose WiFi 3x a week. I alerted them to mold in my apartment and nothing was done. Leaking faucets, leaking fridge, lights on fan ceiling fan won’t work, door locks jam, I alert the office workers, and nothing gets done so hopefully this review will spare families from sending their kids to these terrible conditions.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out of THANKS to Ernest who came thru for me last week. We could not get thru to the Leasing office after the storm so we call the Emergency number from the voice mail. Ernest continued to follow up with us by calling us back and personally went to make sure we were all set to move in. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Ernest!

Worst place ever. 1 million cockroaches! Literally sleeping with cockroaches.

If you want the best and closet to campus apartment complex, University Lofts is the place. DeGraff Hall and FSU business school literally across the street. Also tons of restaurants and nightlife nearby.
