If you need a signature to receive a pkg and aren't home at the time.good luck! After we weren't home to receive my package, we were told it would be delivered to a UPS receiving location (a CVS store). Which would have been great if they actually delivered it there! Tracking said estimated time by 7pm on a Tuesday. I was there, no delivery. Wednesday checked tracking, "on its way", it was never dropped off again. So, I figured I should try changing the location to an actual UPS customer service center near me. They said I had to pay a $7.something fee, ok.did that, then she asked if I wanted to pick up by the end of the day, ok.fantastic! She said someone would call me within the hour to confirm. No call. Thursday, late morning, finally received a call, said I could pick it up between 4: 30p-7: 30p. Ok. Went before 7, they did have it. Explained to the guy the hassle and that I was charged the $7.something on top of it. Today, Friday, I see in my checking, they double charged me the fee. Now I call to get reimbursed.the first women in billing saw the double charge, she apologized but then told me she'd put me through to billing. After another hold I had to explain with the tracking number again to the next guy. Only to be told that he couldn't do anything because I had just picked up the pkg yesterday and that I would need to call back Monday. I asked for a manager. After being on hold for awhile longer, I finally surmised that he had just put me on hold and was not getting the manager. I really regret not buying my phone off Amazon Prime! Customer service is a thing of the past at many companies and my experience with UPS showed that. I was on the phone 30 minutes today and now I'll have to call back Monday. I will cringe at the thought of anything being delivered, that needs a signature, from UPS! Shame on you.
I was referred to this facility because there was question of lithium batteries. Bob (Bobby) was so nice and looked to solve my problem instead of telling me no. He saved me time and my sanity. I appreciate his customer service and made a bad situation easy. Thanks for being positive and helpful on something you probably handle everyday, it was a big deal to me!
