US Social Security Administration reviews
14The attendant is very helpful in checking in. Made the situation very pleasant. The SS agent also was ver helpful.
Amazing service! Team is super friendly, efficient and helpful! In and out in less than 30mins!
If I could give it zero stars I would. It's as if no one works in that office. No one ever answers the phones. And if you walk in, they send you away telling you to call. I was on hold for 2 hours. When finally I was being connected, they disconnected the call. This happens every single time I call. They are awful to deal with. By far the worst ssa office on the east coast.
I have been trying for Months to change my address. I call the main number to change it and they send it over to this office.this office absolutely refuses to change my address.idk what’s going on but you all need to do your job! There’s no reason I should have to call 5-6 times to change my address and it’s still not changed. RIDICULOUS!
Wish I could give 0 stars. Finally, I was able to get through after months of trying on the phone. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude! I had been trying to report my income and told her the trouble I've had about the long wait times and being disconnected. She said, and I quote, "That's a lie. We always answer the phone. " So I guess she has never read a review, and we are all lying? How could she possibly know that every rep answers the phone all the time? It's just ridiculous.
Impossible to get through! Waiting for a rep.for over an hour multiple times. Three times have been discinnected. Have yet to reach a human.
Good luck.
The Fireman,
They said open on Black Friday and when you get there, they are closed.
They sure don't stop charging us!
I just want to thank Natasha for going above and beyond. She was so nice and caring about my situation and I’m so thankful.
My review is not based on agent help as I did not need to speak to one. Overall - clean, modern. Lobby staff/guard - pleasant, helpful and patient. Convenient location off W. Nasa BLVD, traffic flows without jamming up. Quick check in available outside (while waiting in line for them to open at 9: 00 am M-F) via phone scan app. There is a check in kiosk to the left as you enter the building. If you are just dropping off paperwork and do not need to speak to an agent, look for a red Drop-Off Box to your right just as you enter the building (in the atrium). Parking is adjacent to the building.
I have had fine service here in the past, but today I had an issue that the guy that I was assigned had no interest in helping with. I have never been brushed off like this in my life. First he accused me of talking in circles when it was HIM doing that, trying to make me look like an idiot. Then he says that I had been there for 35 min.and that he was done helping me. He told me to leave. My taxes pay his wage which is a waste of money from what I experienced.really bad, and totally useless. At least pretend to care.
Great service. Friendly helpful people. However the issue had never got fixed. On something that is very basic a card for a newborn. The original file date 07/14/2023. I keep getting told 10 days from the file date. They had to refile on 7/25/2023 because it was not in there system. They had me come back about every week to still tell me they could not see it in the system. I call the main number and they tell me I have to go to the facility because they are the only ones that could look it up in the system. The last visit over 3 weeks ago they told me she had been issued a number and it in the mail. Told it is the post office fault, but mail has been fine. I called the number they tell me to go to the facility. For a important document that is need for alot of things this seems werid. I have been to other facilities in other states and never had to deal with anything like this. They will take breaks for certain windows and if you in that category your group stops wither it S or M or so one. I am not on my 8th visit which takes 1 to 4 hours a visit just to get told they do not see it in their system and to come back next week. Still with no card. They funny part is the process is automatic once the hospital files on birth. So normally I should not even have to visit once. So what went horribly wrong here ha. Hope you have better luck.
This was my 1st visit to Melbourne Office and I have to say the staff was amazing. Very professional and extremely helpful, the woman that helped me had an awesome personality and she actually cared!
Thank you so much!
No problems, on time, nice people and not too busy, found out all the information I needed and more, good job.
Am not sure if it is this particular office or it is the Social Security system period. Medicare and Social Security are separate entities and do not communicate with each other. Medicare is withdrawing money from my account for Medicare Part A and B, While Social Security terminates my Part B. A request for reinstatement was done at this location over six weeks and am still without Part B, 6 weeks later. HORRIBLE
