V Pizza & SideCar - Gainesville

We built our own pizza with artichoke hearts, peppers, and ricotta cheese. It was so delicious! Not too expensive either.
Kiwi (sp?) was a most excellent server!

Gold Rush Cocktail was not too sweet and slight sour. A good sipping drink. Old Fashion was well done, smooth not too spicy with liquor. Margherita pizza was good. Thin crust.

I absolutely love this cauliflower pizza. It allows me to have delicious pizza without the high carbs. It doesn't even taste like cauliflower. It's so delicious!

I had a very good experience at the pizza place my server, Alyssa was very friendly towards me. It seemed like I was family. I feel very well treated at this place. This is a must do if you ever go to Gainesville

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Gainesville! This is not your normal pizza restaurant, it’s in a league all of its own. The wings are also HUGE! Service is fantastic! Special thanks to Dakota for taking such good care of us! I will definitely be back.

Every time we come to V’s it’s awesome. Friendly faces, and creative pizzas on each visit. Who would’ve though the neighborhood pizza joint would’ve been my favorite hangout in Gainesville? Coming back soon.

Got here close to the end of the normal hours but was greeted by hospitable faves, an amazing pepperoni pizza which was exactly what I needed and cocktail recommendations. Best place in Gainesville hands down.

We sat at bar for trivia service sucked, I ordered a plain order of crostini twice.nobody updated me.so I asked after I ate my meal.and bartender told me they were out. To tell me 5 mins later they had them.and mgr was working on them. I think it was all dishonest lie.which it’s sad. I’ve been coming here for years.

I was passing through Gainesville and originally intended to visit this place for its all-day Sunday Happy Hour, but as soon as I walked in, I knew this was going to be a good spot to eat. The smells are amazing.

The bar, SideCar, is part of this V Pizza location and is a legitimate craft bar. The bartender was knowledge and set a good atmosphere. A great cocktail bar with solid HH drink specials.

V Pizza is a Naples style pizza place. Great char on the crust and fantastic undercarriage. I am a spicy fan and the Piccante did not disappoint. Real calambrian chilis and great flavor throughout.
Some of the better Pizza I've had in a while, definitely worth checking out.

Meatball appetizer was enticing, plate was filled with sauce, mozz, and ricotta cheese.mouth watering!
Ordered a traditional Neopolitan (not on menu, but customer ordered) with a little extra crisp.yeah, ill be coming back for more!
Wifey got a traditional calzone and added spinach. Phenomenal.

2 small canolí's finished off the dinner and made it right.

Staff was friendly, attentive and courteous. Will be back time and again.

Take note Amelia's Italian Food. This is how an Italian restaurant is run.

So bad! We were there over 2 hrs. Horrible service. Made us the wrong pizza which took over an hr to get. Then had the correct pizza 6 min later. It wasn't cooked all the way and wasn't very good. Nobody ate it. Seems like this place might be better on a good day I guess. Nobody seemed to care. On to the next. Won't be back

Zoe was the bomb. Please give her a raise. You guys are not recognizing her talent enough. The pizza is awesome, too. Zoe is better!

If you are into proper cocktails prepared by a knowledgeable bartender, call and make sure Josh is working, then GO HERE. He made me an excellent Old Fashioned, a true Whiskey Sour and a Gold Rush that would rival the best you've ever had.

We also enjoyed the pizza and wings and the food was prepared quickly and the service was great, but seriously make it a point to sit down for a drink or two.

The pizza was great, with fresh ingredients, mixed with big globs of mozzarella.

Food is great. Drinks are great. But it’s not always easy getting service. And when you do get service, it’s usually inattentive and impersonal.

The managers at V Pizza were able to reserve a space for my large group last minute. When we arrived, the tables were already arranged and everyone had a glass of water at their seat. The food was delicious, and our server was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you V Pizza for a great evening!

Order Stromboli and let me tell ya it's not way others pictured it.the cheese was 90 percent out of it and it was suppose to be the v Stromboli.will not return.

Pizza was hot, fresh, and good! I highly recommend the wing pizza. Cocktails are a bit sweet. Atmosphere was fun. Service could be better. Street parking and parking garage available.

Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. Not to mention you have Zach, Olivia and Jim. It's like Cheers but in 2023. If you don't take the time to slide in grab some wings and a cocktail you are wasting your time.
