Dr pisano is great with my bulldog some of the prices are higher than other veterinarians but its convenient

Dr. Pisano is an angel, she operated on my little Ratilda (rat). The staff couldn’t be more lovely and caring. Thank you for taking care of my little girl.

I need to tell everyone about the amazing people at VCA Hillsboro. We had never been there before, but yesterday my 8-month-old puppy got hold of a poisonous toad, and he was going into seizures. I didn't think he had enough time left to make it to our regular vet, 40 minutes away. VCA was nearby, and my iPhone map said they would be opening 30 minutes earlier than any other nearby vet.

We arrived 10 minutes before they officially opened (and 40 minutes before most of their medical staff was supposed to be there) but they saw us in distress at their door, let us in early and rushed our puppy into treatment.

To make a long story short, through this painful morning, everyone at VCA Hillsboro did everything they could to make us comfortable and to treat our dog quickly, lovingly and effectively. In four hours, our dog went from very, very sick to tired but healthy enough to go home. Throughout the entire experience they were friendly, they walked us through everything they needed to do, and at the end the cost was MUCH less than I would have expected.

I can’t thank everyone at VCA Hillsboro enough. They bent over backwards to keep our family intact, and today our puppy is running around like yesterday never even happened.

I am so happy with VCA, Dr Samantha Beck-Pollio and Kim were amazing the entire staff from having the greeting bags ready for us. I recently moved to Boca and needed to find a vet for my fur baby. I went to another vet and was very unhappy, then someone gave me a referral to VCA and I could not be happier would recommend for sure.

I called late yesterday to make an appointment for my dog that was sick, they immediately booked me for the next morning appointment. When I arrived, they greeted me and kindly checked me in. I waited 3 mins until they called us back, the technician and Vet was amazing - listen to all my concerns and really cared about my dog. Not at all did I feel like they were rushing me out! They have now gained a loyal new customer. Thanks VCA OF COCONUT CREEK!

We went on a 8 day cruise and left my 10 month old boxer Bella at VCA. I was not there but from what I could see when we got back and received Bella, she was so excited and very well cared for. (she kept pulling to go back inside Lol) They sent me pictures of her as well! I know usually fur babies have issues to eat when their owners are gone, it seems that Bella gained weight LOL. Staff is great and so friendly! So glad we decided to go with VCA. Clean facility, great open space for them to run around as well! Thank you so much to the staff at VCA!

Signed up for the medical plan a few years ago, even though it was a little pricey, since this was clean and convenient place. While the service at front desk was hit or miss, the vet techs and DR. French were friendly. However; it seems that with every appointment there were additional charges not covered in our plan. The final straw was when plan increased to $100/mo with no heads up, because at 7.5 years old, the 7lb chihuahua is now a senior dog. Office could not provide adequate explanation of why we need to pay $1200/year for two visits. My advice is save your money and go somewhere else.

We are always treated like family. Our fur babies are given the attention and care they need at every visit. I highly recommend VCA Hilsboro.

Bella & Diesel had their first appointment at VCA Hillsboro last night and I can't say enough about this place. The entire staff was so loving, patient & helpful. Less than 24 hours after their appointment, Dr. Pisano reached out to me to see how they were doing and to give me their blood work results. Veterinary Assistant Kim Kuzemchak called me first thing this morning to follow up with microchip info I needed. I am so glad I transferred my babies here.

Despite the high cost for vet visits, it’s really a good place to go. They take care of you and they have extremely fast and reliable service.

Dr. Beck and her team are awesome! The staff is friendly and professional. VCA Hospital is clean and upbeat. Good communications before, during, and after procedure! Great facility for our pet, thanks for fixin' Finnegan!

Never had a problem with the staff or practice in general, until few days ago when I had to take my cat for a blood work and after I brought her home I found a flea on her. She is an indoor cat, so chances of her catching it outside are non existent. Maybe advise your customers to put flea medicine on their pets prior to coming to the clinic. Other than that, the vet technicians and doctors are all very knowledgeable and caring.

Dr Pisano is the best! I have two rats and one was very sickly. She has kept involved through the whole process and has treated my pets like one of her own. All the front desk people and techs were all wonderful as well. The clinic and super clean and efficient as well!

I used to love coming here but the prices really have gone up. The doctor and technicians are very knowledgeable.but the front desk ladies can sometimes be a little on the snippy side and I feel like they lie sometimes. That is why I put the 2 stars because one of the front desk people made me feel very uncomfortable one day. Sorry doctor and technicians for the 2 stars u guys are great but like I said the front desk woman really rubbed me and my mom the wrong way. Good place if you need to come here but for finances reasons will be going elsewhere

I took my dog Churchill to Hillsboro Animal Hospital yesterday for a grooming. I have never seen such professional service from the front desk through the entire facility. Billy groomed Churchill so perfectly. He has never looked better. Not only am I using Billy and his excellent service but the hospital also got a customer for life. What a great facility and terrific crew. I couldn’t be happier. They also gave Churchill a complimentary wellness check for free. I’m so impressed.

Really a great place! I brought here my limping pup who is 10 years old. Doctor Peterson was attentive and asked many questions. She performed a physical check up and was able to catch the beginning stage of arthritis. I was offered a treatment plan which included x ray and medication. A nurse said it was ok to try meds and vitamins first then to come for x rays if needed. No unnecessary pushing. Very polite and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Dont get me wrong this is a great place if you just want to get in and out for checkups and things of that nature. Otherwise you've been warned! For starters they told me I was rude and angry with the staff after I recieved my bill. When in reality I was very upset my puppy, MY BABY, had just broken its leg. Money means nothing in situations like this! That was a very mean and unprofessional thing to say to a heartbroken customer. I apologized MANY times to the staff that day for being upset and stressed. I even made it clear to the vet and tech that I was having a difficult time with this as they saw me crying back in one of the rooms. I also asked them for assistance getting my dog back to the car bc of how upset I was. Second my dog was in the back facility for only a few hours to recieve treatment. When I picked her up I found 3 fleas on her. I can assure you my dog NEVER had fleas before this. When I reported it to them they made it seem like I was making a total preposterous claim and it must be my fault. They also claimed she was never placed in a cage when I was taken back and clearly saw her in one. For the record my pets are my children, my babies, I LOVE them! I throughly check them and keep up with all of their medications. I would honestly know if my pet has fleas or not. I would not even accuse them if I wasn't certain. Especially when I check and spray them every day on top of their regular monthly flea medications! Then the cast they put on started falling apart within days. I went back to get extra padding put in the cast as I expressed it was starting to rub her badly. The vet gave me all of about 1 min of her time before she left the room. No exaggeration! Now just a day after being seen by the vet her sore is raw and bleeding. Instead of extra padding there was rough medical tape jammed down in the cast rubbing and the tape and cast are coming apart again. They don't have to like me or my attitude for being an overprotective dog mom I get that but I'm just looking for good quality care. If that's what you want I recommend going to a real vet not some big corporate company that's only interested in keeping up with appearances. And I will gladly show photographic proof that they are horrible at what they do. If you really care about your animals and their well being please find another place!

I've been with VCA Hillsboro for almost 10 years. Dr. Pisano is just an amazing doctor. (all the vets there are trustworthy and very competent) Not only has Dr. Pisano given me the personal attention I crave (she texts me about my babies all the time), but she also is an excellent doctor, caring, and empathetic. When my eldest cat had to be put down at 17, Dr. Pisano had been caring for her for a decade, and tears streamed down her eyes too! I would never trust anyone else with my precious animals. The entire staff is wonderful - responsive and caring too. Thank you, VCA Hillsboro!

Doctors and staff are excellent. I have a large pet family and this VCA is just amazing. They have helped with complex urgent care as well as routine check ups. They have literally saved the life of two of our fur babies. You won't find better.
