Venice Day Spa reviews
8Good experience. Well organized, friendly staff, comfortable setting. A bit expensive. But got the best cut I have had in a long time.
Had an amazing massage, Friendly people, and a nice line of services as well as products to buy.
Excellent service! Very clean, professional and friendly! My daughter and I both got a pedicure and were very satisfied! Our go to place now!
Venice Day Spa is my new go-to salon. The place is very clean. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tiffany cut and styled my hair. She is amazing. I love my cut and the salon. I am returning for a manicure shortly.
My first time ever for a massage and a gift from my husband for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Tiffani is so nice and so gentle yet I found the massage extremely soothing and am looking forward to going back the next time we're in Florida! A truly wonderful experience!
Though I normally don’t frequent salons, my experience at Venice Day Spa is exactly why. I received the gift for Christmas and was truly grateful for it.
I arrived and gave full disclosure about my apprehension. Explained I didn’t really want to get back on the color train. Said I did NOT want short hair (my hair was below my shoulder blades). Even showed a photo of a “similar” cut, I said I wanted but keep as much length as I could. Said I just wanted it to be healthier. Fine. We did a Keratin and another treatment…perfect. Upon leaving, I was asked how “my experience” was…best I could muster was ‘it feels healthier’. I tipped 20%.
I was inconsolable all weekend. My hair now rests on my shoulders and I, by default, have the 50’s flip on the ends. It no longer goes up in a clip (mind you, that’s necessary for my daily situation).
After 2 days of being closed, I went to talk to the manager…said she’d get with the owner and call me back. Yeah…that didn’t happen. I went back again…talked to the owner. The manager (Valerie) had already handed me a gift card, said she’d try to get the owner to chat with me but she was very busy taking care of someone THAT WAS PAYING FOR A GOOD EXPERIENCE and walked away…in my opinion, that was wrong. I was dismissed. Almost an hour later, the owner (Heidi) came, I tried to explain my dilemma as she kept interrupting, because she was very busy with a paying customer.
So. Apparently, because the money didn’t come from MY pocket, what was done and what I am left with…PTSD… is none of their concern. To try and “fix” what THEY did…I would end up with a pixie.
I was completely dismissed. Customer service at it’s finest.
Well done, Venice Day Spa, YOU SUCK!
Cynthia in NO WAY listened to me before she took my hair! I TOLD her I did NOT want short hair! Your response is absolutely NOT TRUE! Instead of “offering a different service” to make it right…what you SHOULD’VE done was offer to put it back with extensions! THAT…would be reasonable customer service…not…Too bad, so sad…I can give the gift card refund to someone else! You obviously forgot it was a gift that was given to me. Go you. It was YOUR SALON’S screw up…NOT MINE!
I'm retired after being in the hair industry for 30 years. I was fortunate to be involved in so many different areas of my profession, stylist, colorist, salon owner,
school owner/instructor and platform artist. In all those years my biggest frustration was that no one could cut my hair like I would. I was a horrible client when I sat in a chair and I knew it.
Well today I sat in a chair at the Venice Day Spa. My stylist was Galyna. She listened to me, she spoke in a professional language, made some suggestions and then.
SHE GAVE ME THE BEST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER HAD!
This is one talented lady. If you are looking for a stylist you should definitely sit in her chair. You will not be disappointed!
Galyna, Thank you
I’ve been having my hair done at Venice Day Spa since they opened about 30 years ago. I see either Heidi or Julia, depending on schedules. Both are truly superb, and I am thankful to them for the many compliments that I receive on my hair:)
The spa staff are ALL exceptional, and the atmosphere is lovely and serene - with attention paid to the smallest detail to provide for a high-end client experience.
I drive from Sarasota to Venice because I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
