I had a family memorial service for my wife and Farley did a superb job. I really appreciate how they handled the preparation of everything.

We searched many cemeteries from Sarasota to Port Charlotte where they have head stones and not just plaques. We found the Memorial Gardens to be quiet and very appealing with the large oak trees and hanging moss. The staff was exceptional. They were very empathetic and helpful with the sudden loss. While looking for our final resting place we could not help but notice the grounds keepers were always busy maintaining the property. It is neat and clean. The facility is open 24 hrs.a day so visitation is easy at any time. We are very pleased with our choice and we are only 1 mile away so we visit frequently.
A special thank you to Coral Gonzalez for her help and caring personality during this difficult time.

We made all the necessary funeral and burial arrangements years before my Mom passed. She passed away in July, 2022. Farley Funeral Home was excellent to work with. However, we were very disappointed in Venice Memorial Gardens. The grave marker is placed crooked in relation to the other markers in the row. A letter on her birthdate was not polished. It took several calls, emails and photos to get them to polish the letter so it would match the other letters. The death date lettering did not match the birth date font on the headstone and it took two corrections to finally get it right. I spent a lot of time calling and emailing to follow-up. It was all very distressing. Finally after seven months, the headstone lettering has been corrected. Seven months is an unnecessary length of time to achieve what should be a common grave stone marker.
