Welcome to Land O’ Lakes, Florida, where we are more known for the butter we DON’T make because there is a Land O’ Lakes in Wisconsin or somewhere where it is actually made. Yet aside from not making butter, this is a fine place to live. The bulk of the houses are built in communities and they all have the same problem ever couple of years—clogged vents.

My dryer wasn’t working and it was new! I talked to others and many had recommended the Vent Doctor. From the time I called I felt like I was in good hands. One thing I can say about our communities is that we give trustworthy reviews! If someone is horrible, they fade away, if someone is good, they stick around. The Vent Doctor has been around for a while. He lives in the area and knows it well.

When he came over he was polite, calm and reassuring. One would think that a normal vacuum isn’t impressive but his setup with it was. The reason he uses a canister style is to show you how much is in the vent. He then uses a camera on a stick and threads it into the vent and you can see how clean it is. He brushes everything out. Does the vent look new? Impossible. Yet it looks cleaned. That’s what counts. He recommends to get it done every two years or so. We waited ten. In two years time, I will be calling him again. He was inexpensive and quick. He even got on the roof and cleaned up there. Whatta guy!

Entering advanced level-adulting means sleepless nights over things like exploding lithium batteries or dryer lint setting your home ablaze (thanks media). John was incredibly professional, educating me on what he was doing along the way, including allowing me to view a live feed of my dryer duct guts. This was money well spent and my neighbors were right to recommend the Vent Doctor. I’m excited to have laundry dry like it’s supposed now. Very affordable as well.
