We ordered pizza. The clerk kept getting what I said wrong. I repeated it several times but sure enough the vegetarian pizza had sausage. Very bad sausage. Requested Green peppers turned out to be pepperocini. Won’t be back.

Delicious Pizza and Italian Food
The Ventura pizza is great for people who like less spicy food. Everything on the menu is delicious. FAMILY OWNED

We went there for the first time on New Year’s Eve 2022…not busy at all. They had a “holiday menu” which was disappointing. Nothing like the regular menu. After being seated by one of the kitchen help we waited over 10-15 minutes for someone to greet us at the table, but walked by us at the table several times and didn’t acknowledge us. Appeared to be very interested in talking to “the regulars”. Finally came over to take our order, no apology for the wait time. After ordering “salad” came (lettuce and red onion and 2 pieces of carrot and 1 cherry tomato cut in half. Oil and sun ripened tomato oil for dipping bread that never came. When our meals came chicken parmigiana (chicken burnt on edges) and spaghetti and 2 meatballs the sauce was orange like right out of the chef Boyardee can. No spices at all. Had to ask server for bread. Finally came after about 5 minutes. Had to ask for refills on drinks.
Left a message on my receipt with my phone number. Wonder if they will call? Probably not! Olive Garden would have been a better choice!

We travelled from NJ on Christmas Day and there were only a few places that were open. We did a take out for pizza, and the pizza was good, very close to what we get at home:) The wait time for pizza was long but the service was great, we ordered tiramisu and cannoli while we waited and it was served on the counter in proper plates and with cutlery. The owner offered free soda and drinks, as we waited to pick up the pizza. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting the area or who lives there.

Phenomenal! The best experience! One of the part owners, Ish, served us. It was as if we were at a family meal! He had wonderful food and wine recommendations. The portions were large but it didn’t compromise on the quality. Can’t say enough good things, we can’t wait to come back on our next trip!

The staff were great! Our waiter was a real jokester in the best way, and if I don't miss my guess, the proprietor. Pork shank was cooked to perfection and my wife's Seafood Trio over Linguine was top-notch!
Highly recommend if you're ever in St. Pete.

We typically love this place. Actually have written a great Yelp review for them…But I’m so disappointed in tonight’s visit. Walked in and I had a reservation, I told them I had a reservation but they didn’t even ask my name. Got seated right away which was great. But we were rushed from the moment we sat in our chairs. Wine was flat (supposed to have a fizz) appetizer was good. Ordered entrees and mine was completely wrong. I ordered rigatoni with ricotta and spinach. I got rigatoni with meat (meatballs). Hubby asked for a side of pink/rosa sauce. They acted clueless and eventually brought us vodka sauce. At this point we just asked for to go boxes and hubby wanted a cannoli. Can’t go wrong right? After the server specifically asked if I wanted anything I said no. We were charged for 2 cannolis. Just a bummer that when you are looking forward to something and none of it turns out right. We drove over from Clearwater while on vacation just to eat at our what we used to call our favorite spot. Seems like it’s gone down after Covid. The owner is really nice but unfortunately the service was not so great. Might go back if in St Pete but most likely will not go out of my way again.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Restaurant definitely feels authentic Italian and family owned. Our server was attentive, but a little too intrusive and disruptive; made way too many forced jokes that fell flat.

Great place for dinner and a show. You can have a meal and watch the owner cuss out and strangle an employee. I hope the owner gets jail time. Very unprofessional

I love Italian food. Which means I try alot of places and when I eat somewhere that is amazing I think everyone should know! I had the best chicken picatta I have ever had. It was magic! My husband had rigatoni with broccoli Rabe and sausage and that was equally delicious. Our appetizers were amazing as well and the saddest part was when it was over! The staff is hard working and our waitress Dani was such a hard worker! You should try this place if you can!

9 of us went there two never got our food till everyone else was done the service was pathetic.

Very nice place to eat. Serving staff members were very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious.
