Customer ordered Instacart. Security guard refused to grant access stating customer wasn't answering. Customer answered for me. Security guard would not speak with him, threatened to call the police on me. Customer came out of his home to the gate to retrieve his deliveries. Very unprofessional on security guard's part and unfortunate the customer had to leave his home after paying for such a good service. Delivery drivers get paid by the delivery. Security gets paid by the hour. The reason your food is getting cold and your groceries arrive so late because we sit at the gate while some security guards power trip. The good ones understand how valuable our time is as we sit and burn gas for more time than necessary. She could have easily checked my phone, saw the address to the customer and confirmed with the groceries in my trunk that's what I was there for. Instead she refused to acknowledge the importance of why I'm even there and tried to Rose Parks me to the back of the bus. Such on her and whoever is enforcing such bad procedures.
