2On Thanksgiving after leaving the Florida National Cemetery I stopped at this post with my 94 year old Grandma we are both Lifetime Members. We had a flat tire in the middle of the cemetery and waited 2 hours for AAA so we thought let’s stop for a drink a socialize since at this point Thanksgiving day was a bust. We were asked did we eat Thanksgiving dinner yet and of course we had not the sweetest ladies went back to t he kitchen and made us to go containers to take home from the earlier Thanksgiving lunch the post had. I can’t believe how sweet and loving everyone was and to make us to go containers melted my heart. We will be coming back Christmas to visit and have dinner with you all. Thank you so much for making Grandma and I feel like Family and keep being the best VFW and friendliest of the South
