Via Italia wood fired pizza, Tampa FL

We absolutely love Via Italia! The food is always delicious and service is top notch. Leslie, the bartender, takes great care of us, is friendly, and will steer you in the right direction if you aren't sure what to order. Definitely recommend and if you can grab a seat at the bar, do it!

We didn’t like the fact that we sat at the bar and bought some merchandise and the bartender lady decided to charge us 6 plus people in the BAR im ok for the tip she works for that but the way it was done is wrong

I just feel that a way of stealing there’s many ways to do it not the way it was done today i know the owner for 12 yrs now im going to be very honest sorry!

I’ve been going to Via Italia pretty much since they opened. I’ve had quite a few of the items they offer and every one has been excellent. I was surprised at how good the pizza was, but most of the time I order the lobster ravioli which is unbelievable and reasonably priced. I have to rate this as the best Italian food in the area. The bartenders and staff are always friendly, and service has been great. I had lunch there the other day and based on this, new management will continue with the excellent food, service, and atmosphere.

We have been eating at Via since the opening night. Love the food, people, and have always enjoyed great service. Made life long friends.

Very disappointed in this business. The food is not safe to eat, there are roaches by the bathroom. No gloves when they prepare ready to eat foods. Unsanitary working environment, no one is trained on cross contamination, and he doesn't pay his employees so I've heard. The owner should be ashamed of himself the way he responds to any bad review, It seems he is very belittling and narcissistic. Very unprofessional. Save your money. You're welcome!

We ordered a large pizza which was $30! There was barely any sauce on it and it was soggy, due to being undercooked, not a good combination. We had higher hopes, especially for the price point. Look at the response from the owner, horrible customer service. Won’t be coming back.

This place gets better with each visit. Shout out to Rita and Chris for always making our time there so enjoyable. From the wings, salad, pasta, pizza and cocktails, everything is delicious.

We've been at Via Italia before. Unfortunately on Friday, 01/19/24 it was horrible.
The hostess was lost and totally inefficient. We had the name on the list and she was letting other groups that came after us to get tables, before us.
At the table, we ordered drinks and they all came wrong.
We ordered food and my pasta and my daughter's pasta were cold. My wife ordered the Prosciutto and fig jam pizza and it had no fig jam at all. I complained and not even an apology I got it.
We ordered a Nutella crape for desert and it took forever to come to the table. At least it came right.
The owner was there and didn't check on tables if everything was OK. He avoided to connect with customers. The table next to ours left complaining and saying they won't be back.
It's a good place with really good food, but our last experience was horrible.
I'm not sure if we will be back

Wife ordered lobster ravioli and I ordered tortellini with prosciutto about $19 per plate, food A+.
Bartender Chris and helper Dom were super friendly and attentive. We were treated like friends not just customers.
They seem to really enjoy working there, all smiles. A+
Atmosphere was inviting, very clean and modern. With sports on Both TVs. Plenty of seats and customers were mostly friendly regulars, open on Sundays. A+
This place is located next to First Watch and Sprouts off of Bruce B Downs Blvd.near 75 ramp. 2 espresso martini, 2 dinner plates, and tiramisu dessert with tip $99.

Food was good and it came out perfect.
Our lovely server Angelica, offered the best service we’ve had in a long time. She was attentive, sweet, and kept our drinks full and table cleared. When we go back we will definitely be requesting her. A true Asset to your establishment.

Been here twice so far food is great all ingredients are fresh food taste home made. Best part no stomach issues later on. That happens a lot to me when eating out lately. No bread or salad unless you pay for it. But the quality of the food makes up for it. Highly recommend it.

You wouldn't expect as much from this place given that it's nested in a small strip mall, but it's truly fantastic. The pizzas are all delicious and I didn't try a single pasta dish that wasn't equally amazing. Really great service as well.

Bartender and Server top notch, ordered food, 2 plates (same) one with Salmon the other with Chicken, 40 minutes later food arrives, Salmon burnt like a well done burger, sent back, other plate was kinda cold but after driving an hour and waiting 40 minutes we decide to start on mine out of hunger, 27 minutes later Salmon dish arrives, this one was perfect, we noticed a huge difference in both, second plate was very well prepared, hot
flavorful, we proceeded to tell the server about the experience, she went to the kitchen and came back with a message from the Chef, "Sorry since you didnt said anything before and you ate the plate, there is nothing he could do Without evidence Ok, Ask for our favorite desert, limoncello, had to be prepared at least 3 to 4 days ago, hard as a rock, ofcourse with evidence in hand it was returned, not charged, but no one came to the table to ask if we wanted anything else, just like a bye bye deal with it, we have too many customers. OK, Iam business owner who use to dine there everytime I had a chance to escape with my wife, not anymore. Place has changed a lot since we started frequenting, I guess it got to big for attention to detail and customer sevice

The pizza was delicious and the service from the waitress Bonnie was % A+, was my first time and definitely we are going to comeback again

Excellent pizza and Italian specialities in New Tampa! Great variety of pizza choices and fantastic meat and cheese boards as well as delightful crepes and an excellent bar!

Top quality ingredients and a real focus on customer service make Via Italia a marvelous place for an authentic and yet contemporary Italian experience!
