EDIT - Updating to say they did see this and called me. The office has merged with the Orlando Health system and they are in fact having phone issues after the merge. Once we got in touch everything was straightened out with no problems at all!

I’m posting here in hopes the office sees this and calls me. I’ve been trying to get through via phone for a week and the phone system seems to be malfunctioning. I need to both reschedule an upcoming appointment and have my bloodwork orders phoned in to Quest (which I called and requested over a month ago). Short of driving 30 minutes and showing up in your lobby I’m not sure how else to get through to the office at this point.

Honestly find another doctor. You can't even get ahold of people in the office at this point. If you want automated healthcare, this is your place I guess. Have fun dealing with these robots.

ALSO! Don't accept samples in their office. They bill insurance for it so you get hit with an unexpected bill months later. Then you can't get in touch with anyone in their office. It's a really fun time.

Dr Roberts really listens and is open to prescribing natural desiccated thyroid hormone. I can’t say enough good things about him, and his staff is wonderful!

Update: I decided after giving this guy a chance not to go back. Last time I was there he shut me down when I was trying to tell him what was going on, then he walked out of the room and didn't even let me finish. Maybe he's a good doctor if you're really sick with something, but as many women with hypothyroid know, they can't help you, and I suspect he lost his patience with me and couldn't be bothered.

Good luck trying to get an appointment with this doctor. I called him in January they put me off for over a month then I called them and they promised they would call me back with an appointment? Then I didn't even hear from them again. I just left another message. Don't waste your time here they are dreadfully disorganized. Safe to say they're not accepting new clients.

Response: when I originally called I gave you all my information and I probably gave you a referral as well. Then you asked me for my blood work and I emailed that as well. If your response to me is to argue with me on Google trying to infer that I did something wrong that just proves my point. You have my phone number.

I was referred to this Facility I have called and left messages over and over and over again and no call back. Not sure if it's that they are not accepting new patients, but I do find it kinda weird that no one would at least call back and communicate in some sort of manner. I guess I will have to let me Dr know that the people she is referring her patients to are not getting contacted by the medical professional she's interesting with her patients.

Recently I have received a letter stating that they were releasing me as a patient. I had missed an appointment several months back and $50 was owed. I do pay my bills and will admit that I did not call to cancel the appointment. Sadly at the time the appointment was scheduled I had transitioned to a new job. I was uninsured for the next 90 days until I could enroll into the new insurance plan offered by my employer. When I recently called to try to schedule an appointment I was told that a cancellation letter was being sent out that day. I apologized for missing the appointment and practically begged to remain a client. I was told that the office manager would have to review the situation. Several business days have passed and there has been no response. Dr Robert’s bedside manner was never truly good. In the 7 to 10 minutes that I was able to see him for visits over the last 18 months all that he reiterated over and over was the “Mediterranean” diet and I should be eating better. For my build my target weight is 180 lbs. My average weight is 195-205 lbs. I am not obese.

Six months into my visits I had been fed up with the regurgitation of the Mediterranean diet. I then asked him about me previously having pancreatitis which was causes my pancreas not to produce enough insulin for my body. He was shocked and immediately told me to stop taking certain medications that I was on that because it could flare up the risk of pancreatitis again. WTH? Did he ever review any of my medical records? It felt like the total original diagnosis was based solely off of the bloodwork. At that time it should have been a red flag for me but he came highly recommended by my general practitioner.

I would like to say that I am disappointed to be forced to move on, but I am not.

I apologize to the young ladies at the front desk for the one star. Every single visit they have made it a complete pleasure for me.

Dr. Roberts is great! Great bedside manner, listened to everything I had to say, and made me feel very comfortable. You can really tell he cares about the wellbeing of his patients. Staff was also incredibly friendly & helpful. Cannot recommend this practice enough:)

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Roberts, his wife and his team. I have been a patient of theirs for 20 years and despite living a two hour commute initially, at times outside of the country and now across the country from them I have continued to make the effort to align my appointments with my time in Florida because they are just that wonderful. Thorough. Caring. Attentive. Systems are professional, and create sustainability even with that human element.

They never answer the phone i had to call under halifax health to get appointment and for them to answer the phone.should be rule 3 rings answer the phone

Dr. Roberts has poor bedside manner, and I waited exactly 50 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. A patient who does that would be charged a fee or maybe not seen, at all. The only reason I am giving three stars is because his staff is always delightful. I plan to switch practices by my next appointment.
