Victorian House Bed & Breakfast, St. Augustine FL

Quaint setting in a quiet side street. Good location for access to the main events. Housekeeping not great.

My first time staying in a B&B and I was not disappointed. Wonderful room, wonderful service, wonderful location!

Poor management & customer service. You have no parking for your car & have to walk 5 blocks away which is so inconvenient. Room was not very nice or comfortable & incredibly noisy! They changed locks on the front door & replaced with a code but didn’t answer the door when we came back to get into our room. No one was there to give you the front door code. Seriously? Instructions were if you have a problem, call 911 or go across the street. Went across the street and no one was there! Will never stay here again.

Really enjoyed the stay. All staff was so friendly and helpful. It is convenient to all historic attractions. Delicious breakfast food and very accommodating to dietary needs. It is clean and has vintage furnishings. I'll return.

Terrible accommodations, terrible owner! I have never stayed in a place where I felt dirtier after I got out of the shower than before I went in. It was absolutely disgusting! They had a glade plug-in hidden behind a couch to cover up the smell of mold. The mold is clearly visible growing behind the tub. I wish that I could upload a picture of it here. The windows on the enclosed porch were painted shut. So, not only could we not enjoy the fresh air during our stay, but it was impossible to air out the chemical smell inside of the room. In addition, the bed was being supported by 2x4's. Maintenance is clearly not being done to this place. The owner is combative, aggressive and completely unhelpful. On a positive note, breakfast was good.

Anthony was very personable and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. It was unique and everything was made fresh. Nothing prepackaged. There was always snacks and beverages available. The location was perfect for us.

Room overlooking the cobblestone street was quaint. Owners were very accommodating with us being vegan. Easy walk to the historic district. Feeling welcomed and safe is very important and this bed & breakfast made us feel like family.

The pros- Breakfast each morning was great! The hosts were very nice. Great location to get out and walk to everything. It was great to just relax and take a nap in the room.
Cons- it is an old house and it smelled kinda funny. The door to our room was difficult to close (again old house). The bed was covered in black stuff. At first glance we thought sugar ants. Maybe sand? We also read that they put black salt on the beds. Whatever it was, I didn’t want it on the bed. If it was salt, I think it should be a option on the website (bed salted for luck or not?). I would have picked not. It seemed to keep coming out of nowhere even when wiped off! It’s 4 stars for us because of the black stuff on the bed.

Great Romantic Get Away in the heart of old St. Augustine.

The main house is cute, quiet and just a lovely place to stay. The beds are comfortable, and amenities are nice. The morning breakfast was amazing, and the host were enjoyable to talk too.

The area night life is great with everything with-in a nice short walk.

I am looking forward to our next trip, as St. Augustine is quickly becoming one of our favorite get away places.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights for our 8th wedding anniversary. Anthony invited us to check in early which was super helpful to our trip. Veronica and her absolute kindness and attentiveness made the trip for me. It truly makes my heart happy to encounter such graciousness. Breakfast was delicious. It was truly a pleasure to stay here!

We stayed in the daisy room for 4 nights. The room had great central a/c and a ceiling fan. The breakfast was awesome. Anthony catered to my wife being vegitarian. At 4: 00 he puts out cookies red and white wine. There is a small ice machine but not for a cooler. Parking is on the property or a short walk to a much bigger lot. My chevy 150 was in the lot. But there is an unpacking/packing space at the house. You are minutes to everything by walking. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great location, walkable to all the historic spots, lots of restaurants, and tours!

Martha, the host during our stay, was wonderful. Breakfast was great, but wish there would have been more vegetarian or grab and go options.

Loved it.owners are really nice and helpful.we had one of the smaller rooms which was perfect since we we're basically only there to sleep. Bed was really comfortable.we we're there for 3 days.delicious fresh breakfast which we're different everyday.definitely will back again

Exceeded out expectations! Room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a cute balcony with seating and a huge jacuzzi tub! Breakfast was amazing (you have to try the fresh blueberry bread). Marilyn and Anthony were amazing hosts. My husband and I will definitely be back for future stays. I can’t wait to come back. Really sad to say goodbye.: (

We had a wonderful time at this fantastic B&B, which is a beautiful old historic house, right in the heart of “Old Town” in St Augustine, a short walk from all the wonderful restaurants and historic sites, we parked our car when we arrived and didn’t get back into it till we were leaving. The owners and staff were great, as was the lovely breakfast served every morning. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We arrived early and thankfully we were able to check in early, and as a bonus we received a surprise room upgrade! The staff was super friendly, and everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious both days. We also loved how close the B&B was to downtown St. Augustine. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay again. Thank you!

The Victorian House is our new favorite place to stay in St Augustine, the owners are the nicest people and definitely lookout for all the guests needs and wants. Perfect location and by far the best breakfast around! Can’t wait to visit again!

Home is absolutely beautiful. Service is amazing and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this B&B. Perfect location and close to all the sights
